Hello again!
Rabbit and the Moon Man is a traditional Mi’kmaq legend about the time that Rabbit snared the moon. It is wintertime and Rabbit is checking his snares one day when he notices that someone seems to be stealing his food. He decides to sneak out and catch the thief but does have any luck catching them. Rabbit leaves his home earlier each night trying to catch the thief until one night he gets lucky and manages to snare the thief. It turns out to be the Man on the Moon. Rabbit throws snow and mud at the bright light to try and put it out but has no luck. Finally Rabbit and the Man on the Moon come to an agreement and Rabbit cuts him loose and he returns to the Moon never to come again.
