Hello again!
The adventures continue when Beverley and Felix awake the next day. They quickly get up so they can go out and see all the places that they have heard about from their father. They walk through the famous King orchard and find all the “birth trees” and then at the entrance to the lane to Uncle Roger’s they finally meet the Story Girl and their next adventure continues.

For the months of May and June we will be renewing our focus on Canadian stories and authors, with a particular focus on Prince Edward Island, a magical place away from the stresses of big cities and modern life.
The Story Girl was one of the books which inspired the Canadian television series Road to Avonlea and follows the adventures of a group of young cousins and their friends who live in a rural community on Prince Edward Island, Canada. Written by Lucy Maud Montgomery, a Canadian author best known for a series of novels beginning in 1908 with Anne of Green Gables.
