There are a number of Bible passages that have caused confusion in the church around whether women can be in positions of leadership. Ali will tackle a number of those scriptures to help us understand what God has to say on the subject as well as making time for you to ask your questions. 

King David in the Bible is a wonderful example of a worship leader with a heart for God and skills that helped people worship. Whether you are a worship leader now or wondering about it - lets help you GROW and move ahead.. and what can Midnight Oil teach us :)

We will look into what the bible has to say about dance and where is it seen/found. We will also get the opportunity to explore dancing in the spirit and what that might mean/look like for us personally. This workshop will practically help you to work on confidence and freedom to Worship and Praise God through movement and dance.

This interactive workshop aims to assist you to develop your relational skills with other people. It will improve: your level of awareness, your relational dynamics, and the way that you connect with other people. By engaging in practice exercises you will be opened to pathways of healthy social skills surrounding listening and appropriate relationship dynamics, within a biblical framework.

What are my spiritual gifts and how can I discover mine?

Do you find it hard to get stuck into the Bible? Perhaps you simply don't know where to start or how to make sense of what you’re reading! This workshop will help us better engage with the incredible truths and teaching of God’s Word, so we can grow in knowing God and following Him.

The gifts of the Spirit are for encouraging the church. This is a practical workshop where we'll first look at 1 Corinthians and see why Paul values the gifts of the Spirit and chat about learning to hear God's voice (prophecy). We'll then find out what that gift of tongues is all about and pray for people. If you want to find out more about the gifts of the Spirit, come along!

Who am I? is one of the biggest life questions. It is about our identity as individuals, in community and with God? How do we figure out who are and why we are? 

Ever wondered what life looks like beyond school and/or Uni? Or have you wrestled with the question "what's my purpose"? This workshop will tackle those questions and will give you a framework and some tools to help you start aligning your roles and behaviours to that purpose.
