As a kid growing up in the 80s, 1984 is one of my favourite years for music.
Recording all the latest songs off the radio on my little tape recording, buying 7" vinyl when I got some pocket money - I have such fond memories of this time.

Back in 1993 Gary, Howard, Jason, Mark and Robbie were a pop phenomenon - selling truckloads of albums, singles and concert tickets.
With hits from the album such as Relight My Fire, Everything Changes, Pray and Babe - Take That were one of the biggest boybands in the world.

In this episode, as we head into Eurovision week - I celebrate Måns Zelmerlöw.
Måns won the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest for his home country Sweden, with the amazing track Hereos.
The track became a massive hit all across Europe & even hit the Australian top 20.
Måns opens up about his childhood, getting his start on Swedish Idol in 2005 and winning the reality tv show Let's Dance in 2016.
Måns chats about his Eurovision journey, touring, his charity work, those naked photoshoots and that infamous wrecking ball appearance.

In this episode, as I continue my countdown to the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest - I celebrate Gina G.
Despite coming 8th in the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest, her single Ooh Aah...Just A Little Bit became a worldwide hit.
It was also a hit in the US & received a Grammy nomination.
The song was the start of an incredible run of hit singles for Gina, especially across Europe.
During the podcast, Gina reflects on those times, what was happening behind the scenes and her 2011 comeback single Next 2 U.
