The Darker Side Of Spirituality

In this episode Patty and Jude bring to light the underbelly of spirituality. Just because people display intuitive gifts or speak spiritual truths, does not mean they are all good, well intentioned beings.  Sometimes there is a darker agenda at hand.  There are people who claim to be spiritual guides or leaders who prey upon vulnerable people seeking spiritual connection and validation to manipulate and control them for selfish means.  How can we recognize when we are encountering these kind of people?  What can we do to protect ourselves?
