A Film Director’s Tryst with the Cosmic Director Born and raised as a Christian, accepting someone as Divinity in human form other than Jesus, was something very difficult for Mr Gene Massey to digest when he saw Bhagawan’s picture on the altar in a Sai Centre in Hollywood, California, more than 40 years ago. A Distinguished Police Officer's Journey to SaiMr H J Dora is a former Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh and former Vigilance Commissioner, Government of India. He joined the Indian Police Service in 1965, and around this time, he had his first darshan of Bhagawan too. The Ati Rudra Maha Yajna is the highest form of worship of Lord Shiva. It is a most befitting offering to our Lord Sri Sathya Sai who is the embodiment of Shiva-Shakthi. What does a devotee do if unable to focus steadily on God?

Shivaraman is a Bal Vikas student from Chennai who was drawn to chanting Vedic hymns in his childhood. The Sai environment he grew up in and his visits to Sundaram, Bhagawan's abode in Chennai, only furthered and effectively facilitated his interest in the mantras. Today he is blessed to be part of the grand Ati Rudra Maha Yajna, which will commence in Prasanthi Nilayam on Feb 14, as a ritwik, a priest.

My Beautiful Innings with Sri Sathya Sai

Alvin Kallicharran is one of the legendary batsmen to have taken guard for the West Indies in the seventies. He was part of the team that won the Cricket World Cups in 1975 and 1979. In January 2025 he was in Prasanthi Nilayam and watched the Annual Sports and Cultural Meet of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. Later, he came to the Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre and shared how Bhagawan drew him to His fold way back in 1974 and the umpteen times he has experienced the grace and protection of Swami during his cricketing career and beyond.

Being one of the instruments of Bhagawan who initiated the Sri Sathya Sai Unity Cup in 1997, he also recalls the miraculous manner in which the first international cricket match was played in the divine town of Puttaparthi.

"Stay at Allahabad" was the clear message from Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba to Hon'ble Justice Ashwani Kumar Mishra many years ago, in the 90s, when he was with Bhagawan in the interview room in Prasanthi Nilayam seeking His guidance about his life and career. He implicitly followed Swami's direction and soon rose to eminent positions and is today Member, Administrative Committee, High Court of Judicature, Allahabad. In this moving episode of OMS, G R Praveena, an alumnus of Bhagawan's university serving as a Teacher in the Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School, Prasanthi Nilayam, recalls a life-giving instance of His grace that he had experienced in the 90s. As he reflects on the terrible accident that he had encountered and connects the dots of different events that happened before that fateful day and how he was mysteriously saved, he is convinced beyond doubt of the indomitable power of calling out to the Lord and the incomparable mercy with which Bhagawan rushes to save His devotees.

Why Ati Rudra Maha Yajnam | Sri K Vedanarayanan - https://youtu.be/MNbceoGT5_k Ati Rudra Maha Yajnam performed by Swami’s devotees is primarily a prayer for world peace and happiness. Sacrificing the fruits of good action for a greater cause is the essence of yajnas performed in Swamis Presence. However, the yajna is also meant for inner purification. Following a strict set of Vedic procedures, the yajna along with the process of Mahanyasa bring about this purification. Sri K Vedanarayanan explains in this presentation - the various steps of the yajna, of Mahanyasa, of Dhyana and Japa. Behind The Grand Christmas Celebrations 2024

The 3-Day Christmas celebrations in Prasanthi Nilayam in 2024 saw people participating from over 30 countries. With eye-catching decorations in every corner of the ashram and literally in every building of Prasanthi, the whole ashram was adorned with new and joyous festive attire. This set the stage for the beautiful cultural offerings that were presented, be it the soothing carols, the sublime play or the energetic songs and bhajans.

Mr Murali from New Zealand coordinated this entire effort. In this Satsang, he shares many stories of how Bhagawan worked through them to make this Christmas spectacle happen. He is joined by Mr Prakash, Mr Shiva, Ms Aruna and Ms Tatiana.

As part of Bhagawan's 99th Birthday Celebrations, renowned violin maestros Sri Lalgudi GJR Krishnan and Smt Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi offered their heartfelt gratitude to Bhagawan through a mesmerizing concert in Sai Kulwant Hall. For twenty-two years, Yelena was competing at the highest levels in sports. Hailing from Russia, she was part of the Olympic basketball team of her country for several years from 1988 to 2000. She won the Olympic bronze medal in Seoul Olympics in 1988 and the gold medal in Barcelona in 1992. 

While she saw the pinnacle of achievement in her sports career, many other dimensions of her personality were waiting for expression for decades together. That opening of her soul happened when she stepped into Prasanthi Nilayam in Nov 2023. She longed to return to this ‘Kingdom of Love’ as she calls it and visited again in Nov 2024. Connecting to the True Spirit of Christmas Hailing from New Zealand, Dr Bernard Guillemin came to Prasanthi Nilayam rather reluctantly for the first time in the late eighties. A Violinist Gets Back His Life and Music Pudukkottai Ambika Prasad is an accomplished Carnatic violinist who has performed in several sabhas over decades. Hailing from a family of Hari Katha tradition, devotion was natural to him. He had his first opportunity of performing in Prasanthi Nilayam in 2006 along with Dr O S Arun. After this, he never came to Puttaparthi until Nov 17, 2024, when he was again blessed with the opportunity to offer his music to Bhagawan. But this time, he prayed and pined for it. He had decided he would never touch the violin again after his surgery in Swami's hospital in June 2024 unless Swami gave him the chance to play for Him. And that indeed happened, quite miraculously. In this Satsang, he narrates the series of miracles he witnessed in his life in the recent past, which not only gave him a rebirth but also gifted his music back to him through thrilling instances of His mercy and grace.

"I Don't Start Singing Without Looking at Baba".

As part of Bhagawan's 99th Birthday celebrations, a devotional music concert by Dr OS Arun was offered at Bhagawan's Lotus Feet on November 18, 2024, in Sai Kulwant Hall, Prasanthi Nilayam. After the concert, he visited the Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre studios and shared his thoughts.

Dr O S Arun is a gifted musician blessed with a mellifluous and sonorous voice that covers a wide range and is rooted in Carnatic music.

Among various awards, in 2006 he was decorated with the Kalaimamani title by the Tamil Nadu government. He has acquired global acclaim for his effervescent musical quality, sound knowledge of art and the blending of the two. The Alapana Foundation, set up by him, helps in this intercultural synthesis of various forms of art, while Ratna Sangamam is his social outreach initiative to aid and empower underserved communities.He had the opportunity to offer his music to Bhagawan on Nov 18, 2024, in Prasanthi Nilayam as part of the 99th Birthday celebrations.

After this performance, he visited the media centre and did this Satsang where he shared his deep connect with Bhagawan.

There is 'Sathya' in Bhagawan's name not because He always speaks the Truth but because what He speaks is the Truth. He is indeed Truth personified. Sometimes when He says something, it might seem completely contrary to our understanding of the situation. But when one dwells deep and prays sincerely for guidance, the Lord does bestow on us the right understanding so that we can decipher his message for us in the right way and then take corrective action which will take us closer to Him. Neeraj Acharya, an alumnus of Bhagawan's university who also had the chance to work in the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust for over 17 years, in this episode of OMS, recalls one such life-changing interaction with Bhagawan that not only taught him the true meaning of Bhagawan's saying - "I give you what you want so that you may want what I truly want to give you", but also filled him with great peace, contentment and gratitude when he realised how the Divine Master had so beautifully transformed one of his little shortcomings into a blessing and a boon. The Pinnacle of My Life’s Experience was the Unity Cup

“A chess player in the guise of an off-spinner” – that is how E A S Prasanna is often described. He was Indian cricket’s finest bowler in the 1960s and 70s and was awarded Padma Shri by the Government of India in 1970. In 2004, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decorated him with the C K Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award, the highest honour bestowed by BCCI on any former player. 

However, for Mr Prasanna, the pinnacle of his life's experiences is the opportunity Bhagawan blessed him with to be part of the Sri Sathya Sai Unity Cup which was held in Prasanthi Nilayam in 1997. In this conversation recorded with him in Oct 2024, he fondly recalls those nine months of 1997 as a 'miracle' when he saw how mysteriously Bhagawan worked through him to get the incredible done in the Hill View Stadium at Puttaparthi. Swami indeed had been preparing him for this right from the 1970s and was visibly and invisibly directing the course of his life, he confides and adds that even now, it is Swami alone who is His greatest God, Guide and Goal.

"Your hands have a lot more work to do"

"Every time Baba has talked to me or blessed me, I have grown without knowledge. All these moments have deeply touched my heart and helped me in culturing my conscience," reflects Justice Shivaraj V Patil, who had his first darshan of Bhagawan in 1986. He was a lawyer then. From there, his elevation to become the Acting Chief Justice of High Court of Madras, later the Chief Justice of High Court of Rajasthan, and eventually being appointed as a Judge of the Supreme Court of India in 2000 - every step of his journey has Swami's signature on it. 

In this conversation he not only recounts those powerful moments with Bhagawan but also shares inspiring anecdotes from his childhood and upbringing, and most importantly the convictions he strongly believes in, which he feels is the reason why the divine showered such boundless grace on him. His autobiography "Time Spent Distance Travelled" is indeed a must read for anyone who wants to lead a conscientious life and be a role model in society.

'An Akhanda Bhajan Miracle'!

The coming weekend (Nov 9-10) will witness hundreds and thousands world over from various homes and Sai centres enthusiastically participating in the Global Akhanda Bhajan - the 24-hour non-stop singing of His Divine name.

Bhajans indeed are the smartest, surest and in fact the easiest way to pull the grace of the Divine to us, Bhagawan reiterated this to us in His several discourses.

Mrs Geeta Mohan Ram, whose grandparents came to Bhagawan way back in the 1940s, recalls in this episode of OMS a miraculous incident that happened in the early years of the Akhanda Bhajan movement in Bengaluru that she was witness to. Cancer cancelled. Do good seva FAITH. Someone made a beautiful acronym of this potent word and expanded it as Forsaking All I Trust Him. Mr Bhoopal’s journey to Bhagawan started in the 1960s. Even before seeing Swami, he had developed strong faith based on what he had heard about Him. And once he had His first darshan, this faith became so rock solid in his heart that no matter what challenges came to him, be it life-threatening illnesses or career-destroying professional tests, unfazed, he stuck to His lotus feet and in each of these instances he experienced a miracle that took his breath away. Even as Mr Bhoopal continues to serve as a Trustee in the Sri Sathya Sai Trust, Tamil Nadu, may this Satsang serve to bolster our faith as we strive to experience more and more of His grace.

It was in 1978 that Ms Karuna Munshi had her first darshan of Bhagawan. Recalling that moment she says, “He had cast His divine spell on me and my soul had been awakened in the most sacred and pure way.” Soon after she longed to be His student and did live that dream. In this episode of OMS she picks one of her unforgettable moments she experienced when Bhagawan visited the Anantapur campus way back in the early 1980s. "How Swami Corrected Me" Mrs Radha Rajan belongs to one of the earliest batches of students from the Anantapur campus of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. In those halcyon years, students had many opportunities of Divine interaction with Bhagawan and were guided directly by Him in their secular as well as spiritual life. In this episode of OMS, she recalls one such indelible moment wherein Bhagawan seemingly got upset with her and reprimanded her but in the end revealed His love for her in such a profound and powerful manner that this moment has indeed become her go-to moment whenever she longs to feel Swami in her heart.

The Vijjayadashami evening at Prasanthi Nilayam was graced by an extraordinary musical concert performed by two luminaries of the Indian classical music world—Vidwan Kumaresh on the violin and Vidushi Dr Jayanthi Kumaresh on the veena. The duo, both well-versed in their respective instruments, combined their profound skills and shared devotion, creating an enchanting atmosphere that resonated deeply with the audience, leaving an indelible impression. After their performance, they share their impressions on how they felt coming to Prasanthi and performing in front of Bhagawan.

It is said, “With small faith, to heaven God will take you. With great faith, God will bring the heaven to you.” 

The instances of miraculous cure and unexpected help materialising from unknown quarters just at the right time in the right form, being narrated by Mrs Sundaravally Suresh in this Satsang are testimonies to this sterling virtue of simple faith. 

No one can overestimate the power of a pure and selfless thought. The real life stories of selflessness and service narrated by her serves to bolster one’s holy intent to serve and be empty, so that one can experience the joy of being an instrument in His hands.

As I Chanted, My Voice Came Back What does chanting of Vedic hymns do to us? How have the students benefitted from chanting these mantras over the years? How has Vedam chanting been an integral part of Dasara celebrations in Prasanthi Nilayam for more than five decades? Dr N Shivkumar, the current Director of the Brindavan Campus of SSSIHL, has been fortunate to be part of the Prasanthi Vedam Group right from his student days in the 1980s. In this video, we have extracts of a conversation with him wherein he recalls his association with this festival in Puttaparthi for over four decades and also shares beautiful instances of miracle and grace that he has experienced as a student as well as a teacher, thanks to his love for Vedam chanting which drew Bhagawan’s blessings on him in abundance.

Dr Sathya Sai Shree Lakshmi was blessed to be born in a family which has been greatly devoted to Bhagawan for many generations. By Swami's grace she had the opportunity to do her graduation in the Anantapur campus of SSSIHL and later was chosen by Swami to serve in the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences in Puttaparthi. While undergoing training to serve in Swami's hospital, she along with her colleagues, had many chances of Divine interaction and proximity. Some of these seemingly casual moments were indeed powerful instances of divine revelation. She shares one such OMS moment which took her breath away then and even today serves as a perennial spring of inspiration for her.

Ms Nanditha Kannan won the Kaladhari Award for upcoming and promising artist of the year 2022 instituted by Veenadhari Institute of Music and Fine Arts, Bengaluru. She also won the 1st prize in the Tyagaraja Competition of Music Academy Annual Music Competition, Dec 2023-24. At the same time, she topped her school's XII commerce stream in 2022-23. She is pursuing her 2nd year in BA in Economics and Public Policy at Sastra University, Chennai. She was in Prasanthi Nilayam for the first time in Sep 2024 to participate in the Navaratri Music Festival of the Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre. Ms Gayatri Vibhavari V won the Sangeetha Mudhra award from the prestigious Mudhra Sabha Chennai in 2022, as well as felicitated with 'Sangeetha Yuva Ratna' by Guntur Gayatri Mahila Sangeetha Sanmandali Sabha. Recently she also was awarded with the 'Best Violinist - Margazhi 2023-24, Sunaadalahari Sabha'. Currently she is training in violin under the tutelage of Sangeetha Kalanidhi Padmashree A Kanyakumari and in vocal from Sangeetha Sudha Nidhi Smt Manda Sudharani. She has been a consistent performer in the Margazhi Music season in Chennai, doing almost 2 concerts every day during the peak season.

She was in Prasanthi Nilayam for the first time in September 2024 to offer her music to Bhagawan for the Navaratri Music Festival of the Sri Sathya Sai Media Centre. She performed along with her brother V G Rama Vaibhav who played the Mrindangam. This experience touched her deeply. In this conversation she shares her impressions and reflections of being in Bhagawan's abode during this period.

Why Do We Worship Devi during Navaratri Dasara has been one of the earliest festivals celebrated in Prasanthi Nilayam dating back to 1946. As one reflects on its long and sacred history, the various aspects of the Navaratri celebration in Puttaparthi, and the powerful discourses Bhagawan kindly delivered year after year, decade after decade, the lessons and learnings one derives are profound and extremely relevant for the times. Where Do All The Sacrifices into the Fire Go

This week will see the commencement of the Veda Purusha Sapthaha Jnana Yagnam - the 7-Day Vedic sacrifice to be held in the Poornachandra Auditorium, Prasanthi Nilayam.

As the flames of this sacred fire go up and pervade the whole ambience of the ashram, and the powerful chants reverberate in every particle of Prasanthi Nilayam, scenes of Bhagawan Himself presiding over this holy ritual come alive in the hearts of devotees. The sanctifying bliss that one experiences in these moments is inexplicable. Those who have been fortunate to experience this bliss in the direct physical presence of Swami cannot but thank their heavens for the moments of ecstasy and revelation Swami bestowed them with.

The Medicine of His Grace

Often with awe and devotion, we watch Swami when He materializes gifts - a big diamond ring for one, a beautiful emerald for the other or an out-of-the-world sweet dish for the third one. But the most amazing gift that Swami has bestowed on some chosen few is the 'Gift of Life' itself by bringing them back from the brink of disease and death.

Of course, it's nothing new. It has happened with all incarnations, be it Rama, Krishna, Jesus or Buddha. And for every one story of resurrection that we have read or heard like the story of Mother Subbamma or the coming back of Mr Walter Cowan or Brigadier Bose, there are scores and hundreds we do not know or probably will never know. In this satsang, Mrs Sundaravally Suresh, a teacher of Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School, Prasanthi Nilayam, enthusiastically shares her life-altering experiences.

"Whenever I think of Swami, I get goosebumps," said the thrilled Sunil Joshi after offering salutations to Bhagawan at the Sai Sannidhi on Sep 16, 2024. He was blessed to be part of the Sri Sathya Sai Unity Cup that was held in the Divine Physical Presence of Bhagawan in 1997.

In this short conversation, this former Indian cricketer and former selector of India cricket team, revisits those hallowed moments of that international match that was played in Prasanthi Nilayam more than four decades ago and shares his prized memories of how he became a part of this historic match. That was also the beginning of his spiritual journey to Sai - a journey that he cherishes every bit and longs to inspire others to experience this Divine happiness.

As Indian cricketers competed in Anantapur for the Duleep Trophy, Sunil Joshi seized the opportunity to drive about 80 kilometers to Prasanthi Nilayam, eager to seek the blessings of his beloved Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

As he cherishes every moment of opportunity to serve that came his way, he also feels extremely grateful for the unexpected and untold blessings that Swami showered on him, some overtly and some covertly. Mr Ramesh Kasturi, first of all, had the blessing of being born as the grandson of Swami's biographer, the great Prof N Kasturi. Swami entered and became the head of the Kasturi family when He arranged and performed the marriage of his mother Padma Kasturi. Being born into such a blessed family ensured, as he puts it, he doesn't even know a world without Swami. As he grew up, Swami conferred on him another unique benediction. He became one of the first students of the Veda Patashala set up by Swami in the 1960s.

In this conversation recorded in 2007, the Late Mr Ramesh Kasturi fondly recollects episodes he heard from his grandfather on how Bhagawan revealed His divinity to him, and to the world at large through him.

Whatever God speaks is the Truth. At times we may be able to grasp this but more often than not it is beyond our limited faculties of mind and reason to fathom the nuances of His message and instructions. However as we spiritually mature and as years roll by we manage to get a glimpse of the profundity of whatever slips from the Divine lips.

The celebration of Onam is the glorification of the virtue of complete surrender that King Bali exemplified. As Prasanthi prepares itself for the 3-day festival of Onam starting from Sep 13, 2024, here is a melodic satsang from one of the most celebrated musicians of Kerala, Mr Kavalam Srikumar. Not many know that he came to Bhagawan way back in the seventies itself but the real turning point of his life unfolded in 1993 when in an instant Bhagawan cured his chronic ailment he was suffering from for years. It was not just the malady of the body that Swami healed but from then on, the way Bhagawan has tuned his mind and uplifted his soul is indeed very revealing. His journey with Swami too is a story of unconditional surrender.

"Living with God is True Education." When we hear stories and tales of those who walked, lived and conversed with God, we understand the profundity of this message of Bhagawan. "Sa Vidya Ya Vimuktaye" the vedas declare, meaning, only that is true education which liberates us. What is this education that the Avatar imparts to us? And how does He do it? If there is one thing that the Lord desires from us, then it is love. That also, Bhagawan says, is actually His gift to us which we should readily and unquestioningly offer it to the Divine. However often our ‘monkey minds’, with its infantile intelligence, even dares to test the Supreme One. And the merciful lord more often than not even responds to such tests provided our doubt is genuine and our heart is sincere. "You do not have to do anything, I will do everything." This is the assurance Swami blessed Mr S S Naganand with when he was hesitating to become an office bearer of Bhagawan's Trust way back in 2001. He was not even 40 then and was apprehensive of the responsibility. However Bhagawan's love for him and his faith and trust in Swami has ensured that he continues to play a significant role in the Sri Sathya Sai mission, now as one of the Trustees of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust.

Sai Latha was blessed to be born to parents who came to Bhagawan in the sixties. In fact her birth was His blessing and the way Swami named her is itself a beautiful OMS moment.

Later when she was just 7, she had the opportunity to speak in the Divine physical presence of Bhagawan. She was nervous. She gave up. But the speech did happen! It was lauded by all. And Swami rewarded her too for that. How this unfolded is another enthralling OMS tale.

Finally, when she joined the Anantapur campus of Bhagawan’s university, she longed to get a medal from Swami’s hands. She persevered for it. But could not make the cut academically. However, Swami ensured she received a prize from His hands on the grand occasion of His 60th Birthday. This was her life’s most cherished OMS story.

Mr I S N Prasad, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 1986 batch, had an impeccable career of 37 years in public service as he superannuated in June 2023. He served as the Additional Chief Secretary (Finance) and was the man behind 13 budgets of the state of Karnataka. Earlier he was also the Principal Secretary (IT and BT), Government of Karnataka. His wife, Mrs Vandita Sharma, too belongs to the 1986 batch of IAS officers. As he retired in November 2023, she was serving as the Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka. Among the various other responsibilities, she was also previously the Additional Chief Secretary and Development Commissioner, Government of Karnataka. In this candid conversation, this blessed and devoted couple open their hearts to share how Bhagawan became the source, strength and sheet anchor of their lives and how that was the unseen power which gave them the requisite inspiration, ideas, emotional and spiritual mettle to discharge their responsibilities amicably in such senior positions in the government.

As we approach one of the most significant festivals of the Prasanthi calendar, the Guru Poornima celebrations, we revisit Bhagawan's definition of a 'Guru', the significance of having such a Guru on the spiritual path and, most importantly, how do we acquire one? In this final episode of her reminiscences, 90-year-old Mrs Jaya Natarajan takes us through a journey of heavenly visions and visits that not only bedazzled her but also healed her. In each of these episodes she saw the guiding and guarding hand of Bhagawan. In the 1990s, Swami sent her and her husband to middle-east. It was wartime there but Bhagawan appeared there to reassure her of His presence and protection, and later in 2010 gave her husband a new lease of life miraculously. 91-year-old Mrs Jaya Natarajan continues with her spellbinding tales of divine miracles and interactions that she was fortunate to be part of in the sixties and seventies. Becoming a student in Bhagawan’s school in Prasanthi Nilayam in 1993 was for Vijay Sankar the way to unlock several dimensions of his personality that he had not known and discovered. And all these facets of his life found expression here not because he wanted to excel in anything, it happened because all he wanted to do was love Swami more and explore every avenue to be close to Him and be with Him as much as possible. This is the master key which opened every other beautiful aspect of his life and today in this fresh episode of OMS, as he recounts those sweet and revealing moments his heart only bows down to Bhagawan in sheer gratitude for everything he has so subtly and sweetly done to him, and this tale continues. Like it is for many Sai youth, for Mrutyunjaya Dash too, it was a dream to become a student in Bhagawan's university. His penance and pining did finally bear fruit. But what that stay in the Sri Sathya Sai Hostel did to him was life-changing. The new vistas of life that opened up within him during those two years of being in Prasanthi Nilayam has defined everything he has done since then. Today if he is passionate about restoring Mother Earth and has made it his profession, it is because of Swami, His devotion to Him and the clarity of purpose that Swami has instilled in him.

An alumnus from the early batch of students of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, B Panda was fortunate to join Bhagawan's college way back in 1979. His parents came to Swami in 1972 albeit reluctantly but soon Bhagawan became the centre of their lives and his father wanted him to become a Sai student. Panda in this narration recalls how quite mysteriously he became a student at His lotus feet and also the precious opportunity of his sacred thread ceremony that Swami did personally for him in a way that remains his life's strongest source of strength, courage and goodness.

It was on Sankranti Day 76 years ago that Bhagawan laid the foundation stone of the Prasanthi Nilayam Mandir. On this auspicious day, let us recall some of the spellbinding moments about how Bhagawan built this Abode of Supreme Peace for us and what were His declarations and revelations when He gifted this sacred edifice to all of us. We often think that it is our spiritual aspirations, worldly needs or insurmountable problems that lead us to Bhagawan's fold. But, little do we realise that in reality, as Swami would say, it is the Lord who comes seeking those that belong to Him. Born into a family that wasn't given to regular forms of worship, and married into a household that was well-endowed but not particularly spiritual, 91-year-old devotee, Mrs Jaya Natarajan, in this first part of the conversation shares the inscrutable events, visions and encounters that were slowly preparing her for the grandest blessing of her life. The interview was recorded in 2023.

Yeshab Giri had never imagined that he would become a student at Bhagawan's college. If someone had told him then that one day he would be a management graduate and a leader in the corporate world, he would have simply laughed it off as meaningless prattle. However if today he serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at Randstad India and deftly manoeuvres through the management maze, it is because of the clarity and direction, strength and conviction that Bhagawan has instilled in him during those precious years he spent at His lotus feet in the 90s. In this little narration, he puts forth three effective principles of management that he imbibed just by observing Swami and recalling practical examples from his professional life he goes on to share how these have immensely helped him in his boardroom responsibilities.

Three weeks prior to a devastating storm that was to throw his life asunder, Bhagawan brought D N Muthy to His lotus feet - the safest harbour in the Universe. A teenager then, Murthy had no clue of the typhoons that were to turn his life upside down, but the merciful Swami ensured that he always was carefully sheltered in His presence and power, not only then but for all years since then. Today Murthy woes his every breath to Bhagawan and lives only to thank Him for every OMS moment that Bhagawan continues to bless him with, in His own inimitable ways, every single day.

Amit Chandrasekhar, an alumnus of Bhagawan's university, was blessed to perform 'Burra Katha' in the Divine Physical Presence of Swami in his student days. It was during one such occasion that Bhagawan chose to raise his awareness and focus on Him to a new level through a seemingly simple statement. But today as he reflects on those moments, he cannot stop his tears thinking of the mercy He showered on him even though he, in his ignorance, did not realise the import and significance of those words then.

Continuing the halcyon recollections of Mr Suri Srivilas who was blessed to bask in Bhagawan's physical proximity in the 50s and 60s, in this episode he goes on to narrate a few more revealing instances of His Divinity that He witnessed first hand. As a boy who was in his twenties then, he had no clue of what He was being gifted with but today as he reflects on these instances he is filled with awe, gratitude and deep love for Bhagawan - the same feelings that evoke in every person who hears these spellbinding tales.

Being blessed to come to Bhagawan way back in 1959 when he was just 19, Mr Suri Srivilas recounts the spellbinding Shivaratris of the yesteryears. His reminiscences are indeed unique because he not only witnessed these celebrations as a devotee but was fortunate to be His chosen instrument in the unfolding of many of these spectacular leelas. He had the matchless opportunity of serving Bhagawan at close quarters and basking in His physical proximity like very few devotees have been blessed with.

Bhagawan says, that to know God means to love God. But to develop this love, one must be given a glimpse of the glory and the majesty of God. And that is why, what we refer to as 'miracles' were characterised by Swami as being His visiting cards. These events and occurrences which are beyond our logical comprehension serve only to call our attention to His supreme personality. A fistful of ocean water can give a taste of the ocean, but will never come to define the ocean in its entirety. Similarly, these miracles, which tend to get a lot more attention than their due, can never define Bhagawan in His entirety. As we observe the Aradhana Day, we try to look at and past these miracles; look at and hold on to the hand that holds out this 'visiting card'.

As an All India Radio A grade artist, while she was always appreciated for her skill in Carnatic music, she came to the fore in the early 2000s with her performances on the reality singing show Super Singer and emerging as a finalist on the Indian Idol show wherein her audition video clocked more than 1.7 million views. She is not only a singer but also an artist and songwriter too who loves to collaborate with world musicians of various genres and present the beauty of Carnatic music to younger audiences in an innovative and captivating manner. In 2021, she released her first independent single – Vaa Sakhi to celebrate the uniqueness and glory of Indian womanhood. She is currently learning from Dr Sriram Parashuram.

An engineer with a passion for science and mechanics, when Sri V Ramalingam heard about Bhagawan materialising Vibhuti and other objects, he dismissed him right away as a magician. This was in late 60s. In the early 70s, a colleague gave him a book about Bhagawan. He felt the book was too good to be true, it seemed like a fantasy to him. However, when an opportunity knocked for him to visit Prasanthi Nilayam, he decided to take that chance to investigate himself directly and then come to his final conclusions. And as they say, "He came, he saw and he was conquered." Conquered by the aura of Sai, overwhelmed by His omniscience and transformed by the touch of His love. This is the thrilling tale of Sri V Ramalingam who has been serving in the Sri Sathya Sai Information Technology Centre of Prasanthi Nilayam since 2003. Even though he is an octogenarian now, he continues to be active in His divine mission.

An engineer turned litigator Mr J Sai Deepak practices as an arguing counsel primarily before the Supreme Court of India and the High Court of Delhi. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in law from IIT Kharagpur’s Law School in 2009 and has carved a niche for himself as a litigator in civil, commercial and constitutional matters. He has been part of several landmark cases, such as those related to the Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple, the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, and is also the counsel for the royal family of Kashi in the case demanding a constitutional review of the Places of Worship Act, 1991. In 2019, he was awarded the Young Alumni Achiever’s Award by his alma mater IIT Kharagpur. Apart from delivering scholarly lectures on constitutional issues, he writes prolifically for leading newspapers and magazines. He is author of the bestselling first book of the Bharat Trilogy, "India, That Is Bharat: Coloniality, Civilisation, Constitution." While he is a much sought-after speaker in the current times on issues related to Bharat's culture, constitution and civilisation, what most of us do not know is that he was born with the Divine blessing of Bhagawan and in fact shares his birthday with Swami Himself. In this conversation, he opens his heart to share what Swami means to him and how without Bhagawan's indelible Presence in his life he would not have been where he is today.

Bhagawan laid the foundation stone for the first hospital in Puttaparthi - the Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital way back in 1954. That was the beginning of the medicare mission which later had a new and expanded General Hospital and two Super Speciality Hospitals, one each in Puttaparthi and Bengaluru. Even though thousands of poor and needy were served in these Temples of Healing, Bhagawan said that this was not enough. In 2006 He launched the Sri Sathya Sai Mobile Hospital which is literally a 'hospital on the wheels' so that now in stead of the downtrodden coming to the hospital, the hospital could go to the door steps of the poor. Dr K Narasimhan, the Director of the Sri Sathya Sai Mobile Hospital gives us a glimpse into the genesis and the growth and philosophy of this noble initiative of the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust.

As a young chemical engineer from the University of Madras who excelled in his professional career, Mr S Thyagarajan was dismissive of Bhagawan when He heard about Him in the 1990s. But during this period, one day in a flight he met an American who told him something about Bhagawan which literally shook him. Now he wanted to discover who Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is. And he says, "I came, I saw and I was conquered." This, however, is only like a trailer of his awesome journey with Swami since then.
