Protection Psalms

Note: This episode and others from this time frame reflect an early stage in my spiritual journey.  While I may or may not not hold these views any longer, I am still keeping these episodes up.  

Why?  Because this is also a historical and folklore podcast, and the folk practices or beliefs discussed are still accurate from an educational and cultural standpoint.

Psalms are more than just songs of praise - they are mystical written powerhouses that invoke not only emotion, but intercession from the divine. Whether it's a hoodoo rootworker, a faith healer, a cuarandero or even your local priest - it's not uncommon to see Psalms used in ways to invoke  a desirable outcome. They can be used for protection, prosperity and even for hexing and justice work. 

In our first in a long series on the Psalms, today's episode will cover Psalms 91, 23, 24, 35, 18 and 110 - all of which can be used to protect yourself, your home and your energy from the unwanted.
