What if Anakin KILLED Palpatine in Revenge of the Sith? - Star Wars Theory (FAN-FIC)

This one is a little more analytical than just action packed like some other fan-fics...a nice way to ease back into them I feel. What if Anakin just prodded his lightsaber deep into Palpatine's spine as he turned his back on him? We have to understand Anakin's mind set here, he was extremely unstable and I believe if the film was more 'realistic' then Anakin would do this in a fit of rage. What do you think would happen to Luke Skywalker? Would he be raised by Anakin? Would Darth Vader still be born? What about Obi-Wan Kenobi? Mace Windu??
