Today we’ll get down to “Business” (the fourth element of our Core 4) and learn how this area gives you power, energy and drive. We’ll talk about the difference between trying to hit home runs and trying to hit singles—and how this baseball analogy relates to your life.
Finally, we’ll look at the impact that studying, learning and implementing new ideas every day will have on your business.
POINT #1: Try to Hit Singles Every Day, Not Home Runs
* In baseball, there are two types of hitters—those who always try for home runs and those who try for singles. The Core 4 is about trying to take simple steps to “hit singles” every day.
* Hitting singles every day creates momentum; in just four days of hitting singles, you will score a run.
* If you always swing for home runs, you will have to wait months between home runs and you will lose momentum.
POINT #2: Discover and Declare Every Day
