We talk to Dreamkid – Synthwave Songwriter and Performer. Growing up on the Eastern Shores of South Africa during the late 80s and early 90s, Dreamkid would spend days surfing and skateboarding whilst being fully obsessed with all things Pop Culture which was oozing from the Californian West Coast of the USA. Diving into the Pop Punk world of the late 90s and early 2000s would lead to relocating to the UK to chase rock and roll dreams before more recently finding an all-encompassing 80s style and identity in the Synthwave world which has opened up incredible new doors online and a whole new chapter with Dreamkid’s creativity and sound.
