Dark Victory (1939)

Want an uplifting film that in no way sounds like it will be an uplifting film based on the description, but somehow still totally is?  Bette Davis gives a beautiful performance in this "Three-Hanky Drama" about a woman with a "prognosis negative" medical diagnosis who must choose how she wants to live out her final days.   Her chemistry with co-star George Brent is truly something special and Humphrey Bogart, Geraldine Fitzgerald, and Ronald Reagan round out the cast in supporting roles.  Sara Greenfield and her guest Ashley Blanchet chat about all this and more on this week's episode of Talk Classic To Me.
