Theurgy means “divine-working” and it’s rituals and workings to raise one’s self up into a state of divinity, a kind of sacred magick. And Dr. Nathan Bjorge thinks it has the potential to liberate us in both the personal and societal senses. Through specific examples of modern paganism, Thelma, and ancient Neoplatonism Dr. Bjorge comes on Talk Gnosis, with guest host Nic Lachetti, to show us how theurgy and the esoteric can free us from oppressive ideas and structures.
