Ep.19 - Lucy and Saul have a conversation about every gardeners major dilemma - Weeds! Whether to embrace them, control them or curse them, its probably what keeps us in our job...

Lucy and Saul are fully aware that the world has taken a monumental shift - the Coronavirus outbreak has left our little bit of the world in Horticulture reeling both personally and professionally. So we both decided that instead of our longer format episodes every 3 weeks or so - we going to record shorter podcasts, through the week, to bring you a slice of our lives at East Donyland Hall and Stonelands and beyond - trying to bring a little bit of spring and sunshine to your eardrums.

If there's something that every gardener can relate to and the second most popular conversation topic among gardeners (after the weather) its Weeds! A couple of decades ago weeds were eradicated left, right and centre...now they are embraced as wildflowers and essential to our environment - but in the garden there is a happy medium, so Lucy and Saul have a chat about how they manage weeds at their gardens including one of the most feared and hated - Bindweed!
