Ep.27 - With the mercury rising and rain in short supply in both Devon and Essex, its Irrigation, Irrigation, Irrigation for Saul and Lucy, but that doesn't mean they can't take time to enjoy their meadows and harden off tender plants...

Lucy and Saul are fully aware that the world has taken a monumental shift - the Coronavirus outbreak has left our little bit of the world in Horticulture reeling both personally and professionally. So we both decided that instead of our longer format episodes every 3 weeks or so - we going to record shorter podcasts, through the week, to bring you a slice of our lives at East Donyland Hall and Stonelands and beyond - trying to bring a little bit of spring and sunshine to your eardrums.

With echos of the past two years - the summer has started of with a deficit of rain that means both Stonelands and East Donyland are now exhibiting signs of drought - Lucy and Saul are busy watering, but luckily nature is providing much needed relief in the form of Bee Orchids in Saul's Meadow, which he is incredibly passionate about. Lucy also look at the plants that are being hardened off at East Donyland ready to give that much needed zing of colour in late summer.
