Talking Heads – a Gardening Podcast
2021 has started but much of the troubles of 2020 have continued, and we understand that the full repercussions of what we have all been through are now being felt - but with summer and autumn now distant and the glory of winter around us, we continue with a healthy amount of discussion on some of our favourite horticultural topics, bringing a little dose of the garden to your daily lives.
In 2021 the UNFAO (Food and Agricultural Organisation) are promoting the International Year of Fruit and Vegetables. For regular listeners they will know Lucy may have a slight bias towards Productive Horticulture, this initiative has really floated her interest. A lot of the initiative focuses on the growth, production, distribution, health and diet and the cultural impacts Fruit and Vegetables make to differing societies all over the planet; so Saul and Lucy take a look at what the initiative entails and how it feeds into our lives as Head Gardeners.
