In Liz Murdoch's sessions as a dog communicator, it frequently comes up in conversations with the dogs that many do want to go back to dog school and some have even asked for help learning how to walk on a leash, or at least get better at getting along with other people or dogs.
In conversation with professional dog trainer Irith Bloom of The Sophisticated Dog, Liz and Irith discuss basics and benefits of online private dog training and why dog training can be a special event for a dog. Also, it turns out dog training sessions are often more successful when the dog's people have to do all the hands on training and are coached by a trainer guiding them remotely.
Liz and Irith also discuss the importance of consistency, different kinds of walks for a dog, and even why it can be important to let a dog enjoy a good sniff! So much important information in this episode, tune in and learn more about dog talking and why it can be good to listen to your dog and go back to school, no matter how old you or your dog is!
