Choked with corrosive fog, the Isle of Mist reveals a desolate, lifeless expanse of jagged rock and fallen adventurers. Protected by the sword of Um-Durman, the party spots a fallen orc near a pond which holds a staircase leading into the dark depths. Sodden from their swim, they discover a network of caves, branching like gnarled fingers. East is the path taken, where vampiric bats prove little hindrance until Gideon's fear gets the best of him, and he dashes further into the caves, bumping into a wall of filth and flesh that is a troll, who grunts "Who goes there?" Will blades be drawn or will sharp tongues be the way forward?

The journey to Mirror Lake is deathly quiet and uneventful, almost as if Azrael Koth has stilled the opposition, almost as if he wants the party to come. Um-Durman is the key to ending Azrael Koth's influence but also the key for him to escape. The beginning of the end is now, as we push toward the conclusion of The Secret of the Dragon Emperor campaign.

The furnace still belching the scent of cooked boar and smoke, the party arrives with new from Bothild's ghost. She will provide them riches and information if they retrieve her precious axe, which lives in the belly of the White Death, the great serpent that consumed her. During their brief relay to Maladuk, the great serpent explodes from the water collecting in the chamber's corner. Will it pick them off one by one or will the beast be slayed once and for all? a clue. Will the party be able to solve the mystery?

In the frigid depths of Bothild's Lode, an ancient mine where dwarven greed brought about their end, the party found it overrun by goblins. After a fierce battle that led to a truce, they find themselves in winding corridors, the end of which an oven burns brightly with sizzling boar. A pact is made with Maladuk, an orc after the same goal: to end the rise of Sathmog. Parting ways, and journeying further, a strange door is discovered. Etched with glyphs and a sculpture of a dwarf, what can it mean? Severed hands lie at its base, which gives a clue. Will the party be able to solve the mystery?

What lies beneath the Seal of Acheron? The brood mother scorpion nearly drove the party from the crumbling chamber, their wounds dripping with poison, but a second wind bolstered by a glimmer of hope and glory drove them to finish the battle. Nursing their wounds, there is only one place left to go. What will they discover? After a midnight melee, the party traverses the desert wastes toward their destination. The woman's tears finally dry, her son now safe in her arms. The onlookers begin to step away, returning to their posts and duties. Outskirt feels renewed, though an emptiness lurks in the form of the blackened remains of the Three Staggs Inn. Will this truly be a moment of respite?

In the heart of Oracle Cave, Donovan lures the ancient she-spider, Saak'Shal from her lair once more, torch blazing in her many eyes. The rest of the party and their orc reinforcements rush from the shadows upon his command. Will they defeat the ancient spider or be consumed slowly entombed in webs?

Free from the spider's web but failed to rescue the missing child in Oracle Cave, the adventurers seek to uphold the bargain by dispatching the orcs deeper in the cave. It gets personal, when a demonic voice whispers to Donovan and his wife's burial urn is missing. They discover it floating in a ball of fire suspended over a black pit, with two goblins ready to claim it for their own. Will the urn fall into the hands of the goblins or into darkness itself?

After battling a swarm of spiders, the party sits to rest, to take a moment and question whether or not journying to Oracle Cave was a sound idea. Webs curtain the walls slick with moisture. Drip. In the shadows of a ruined tower waits a lone wolfkin, old, ragged, and one-eyed. He claims to have ushered Antelia here to deal with her trauma and perhaps gives Mourningcloak the tools he needs to fulfill his knightly oath. Meanwhile Darrow rushes to find his lost love with so much gusto that he tumbles into the pit where she is said to be. Will he find light or darkness?

Bears and bullets at their backs, Lemslie, "Slim", and Bad stumble into a taxidermic nightmare wherein a spade doesn't strike true. But true enough to awaken a harpylike monstrosity that guts the man known as Doctor Vulchester, who, after his spilled innards slither back inside from a miraculous injection, offers them a deal: stop the mutants before they halt the train. That deed will yield 500 silver each plus freedom. Will the Scum ride into the sunset or perish to blood vulture chow?
Shackled and bound for hanging aboard the Organ Rail, the Scum wallow in the sweltering, pitch-smoked heat, concocting an escape plan.
After discovering Antelia's potential kidnapping, Mourningcloak catches a scent on the silver fur found at the cottage. The scent takes them to an ancient circle of stones occupied by the ghostly floating head of an old man who mutters quietly. What is he saying?
