Today's guest is Joshua Shubert, Director of Engineering at Avenda Health in California. Founded in 2017, Avenda Health is creating a more personalized future of prostate cancer care. The company have built a platform that uses deep learning to map a patient's cancer in 3D, giving physicians never before available 3D visualization and precise information enabling more confident care plan decisions. Avenda Health aims to improve outcomes, preserve quality of life and create a new standard of cancer care.

Joshua joined Avenda Health as their first Software Engineer in 2018 and is currently managing a team of skilled software engineers and scientists to bring their breakthrough cancer treatment to market. Joshua holds a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and has gained industry experience in cloud-based medical software, as well as developing a strong background in deep learning, medical imaging and robotics.
