In this episode Dr. Yanina Gomez (psychologist, author and emotional wellness expert) talks about 5 things we all can do to center ourselves and take care of our mindset during COVID-19 situation.
Professionally trained as a jeweler, Bo Huff owned a family jewelry business with his brother for 15 years. During this time, his wife was diagnosed with cancer. She passed away after a four-year struggle. After her death, Bo closed the jewelry business and ran away. He found it difficult to be creative. It was during this period that he was diagnosed with Bipolar 1.
Bo began to experiment with painting and found it to be very therapeutic. Being Bipolar accentuated his creativity. He battled with whether he should separate his art from his mental illness, but it was simply impossible. When showing his art, mental illness always comes into the conversation. It is not something he hangs his head about. He uses this to reach out and give others hope.
His passion has become painting. It is what he does for fun – for recreation, for creativity. He also enjoys teaching others what he has learned about how to succeed with a mental illness. One area Bo pays special attention to in his work is with suicide prevention. Outside of his art, his other passion is his dogs. Bo spent a number of years volunteering at a local no-kill dog shelter and has personally adopted 4 dogs from this shelter.
Bo’s business has flourished over the past 10 years, and he has found a great niche. He can now truly call myself an artist, an “outsider artist”. Bo’s medium is acrylic on canvas or wood. You will likely find him painting either in his studio in north Texas or his studio on the northwest side of Houston.

Every year, the festival selects a number of works created with the use of advanced digital technologies or electronics to create provocative installations, while films are selected by a jury panel of artists, filmmakers and writers.
The festival’s dual program offers an opportunity to experience local and international short, feature, fiction, experimental, documentary films, and animation, plus a time-based art exhibition that includes small and large installations and performance for an immersive sensorial experience.
Twisted Oyster hosts lectures, presentations and invites high school- and community college-level artists to show their films or video artworks.
In this episode I have a great chat with the brand new art space Satellite - Chicago in the eve of their debut opening their space to the public. This group of four young emerging artists and creatives share their experiences and challenges with collaborating with one another.
Satellite Chicago is a co-operatively run artists space for performative, interactive and installation-based art. Founded around the thesis that the monoculture of economic rationality does not allow for the collective imagination of new social/organizational projects.
Our mission is to: Activate the art exhibition space as a tool for producing disruptive sensorial experiences that estrange socio-spatial contexts from codified etiquettes.

Born and raised in the Chicago area Fred Moss was drawing and sketching the world around him from an early age. He grew up visiting the Chicago Art Institute, often admiring the outstanding impressionistic and classical painting collection. He also saw the traveling shows, and was influenced by the master painters and Impressionist shows. He attended the College for Creative Studies after receiving a partial school grant and earned a bachelor’s degree. After graduation he studied with renowned painter Romel De La Torre, who helped him convey on canvas his thoughts and feelings. He also studied at the Florence Academy of Art in his grandparents’ native country, Italy. There he found a subject matter that inspired him—the scenic towns and countrysides of Italy. Fred painted Florence, Lake Como, Venetian canals, and hiked the mountains of the Cinque Terre looking for scenic views to capture on canvas.
In 2007 he was accepted into the American Impressionist Society's Annual National Juried Exhibition for his painting of "Springtime Flowers" which was held at Hilligoss Galleries in Chicago. In 2008 he was accepted into the American Impressionist Society’s Annual Juried Exhibition for his painting of “Rose Garden” which was held at Coda Gallery in California. In 2008 he had a solo show at the North Charleston City Gallery. In 2011 he had a painting in ArtPrize, which is a global art competition held in Grand Rapids Michigan. In 2014 he was commissioned to paint a public art “horse of honor”. Each horse was dedicated to a Chicago police officer who was killed or injured in the line of duty. The exhibit featured life size statues of Chicago mounted patrol units that were each artistically designed by local Chicago artists. The exhibit benefited the Chicago memorial foundation. In 2017 he was commissioned to paint a public art “K9” statue. Each K9 statue was of K9 officers. Fred created a Chicago Blackhawks themed K9 that was signed by the Chicago Blackhawks team. In 2014 he had a solo exhibition at the Harold Washington Chicago Library of “Impressions of Chicago Gardens”. He has exhibited in several galleries and shows which include the Hinsdale Center for the Arts, Beverly Art Center, Karen Solem’s Gallery, 7013 Studio, Hinsdale gallery, Arlington Heights Historical Museum, Elmhurst Artist Guild, Mainstreet Art Center, and Silhouettes Fifth Annual Exhibit. During 2004 and 2005 he participated at Art in the Barn, a juried art show. He has also painted Chicago and Italy cityscapes for limited edition prints which were signed, numbered, then distributed and sold in the Chicagoland area. Chicago city hall has one of his prints hanging there.
His painting "Cliffside View of Vernazza" was a finalist in the May Art Muse Contest. And his painting "Gliding Gondola" was a finalist in the January Art Muse Contest.
Over the years, he has done painting demonstrations for Friendship Village, taught oil painting at Art Cube Studios, and taught a workshop at the Elmhurst Art Guild about the use of computers by artists. Fred is now working on paintings of National Parks.
Mentorly was Co-founded by artist-entrepreneurs, Ashley Werhun, professional dancer formerly with Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal and Katherine Macnaughton, Filmmaker and Co-founder of Bis Films. Both are working artists with 20 years combined professional experience.
Mentorly is the first online arts mentorship platform providing accessible and engaging opportunities to connect with emerging and professional artists from around the world.
their mission is to empower artists by fostering learning through creative exchanges and to giving back to the community through our InKind Fund.
As working artists, Mentorly’s co-founders united over a common pain point. On one hand, Ashley, would receive hundreds of informal requests for advice that would clog up her Facebook messenger and Instagram inbox. As much as she wanted to help these aspiring dancers, the channel seemed too informal and inefficiently setup for providing thoughtful guidance. She noticed that this happened to the artists around her and wondered if it was a problem that crossed industries - it was.
Katherine, however, experienced the gap from a different perspective. “Founding a video production company right out of school and building it for the following 8 years was extremely rewarding, but also isolating at times. I often felt I missed out on the opportunity to build a network of peers and more importantly, experienced and like-minded professionals that I could look up to for guidance. What I really needed was a mentor.”
Both set out to fill this gap by building a platform that would foster creative exchanges and overall unite and strengthen the art community. After speaking with hundreds of artists who expressed the same pain points, the gap became achingly apparent: artists are hard-pressed to find guidance that can help steer their careers, develop and sharpen skills, and build confidence. This led to an urgent call to action: to provide direct access to mentors in one stroke and Mentorly was the timely solution. Since launch, the feedback has been resoundingly positive with many users asking us why this platform hasn’t existed sooner!
Mentorship is essential to growth, though it is often informal and inaccessible to most. It’s difficult to find a mentor in any profession, not just the arts. Universities feel this gap every day. They have experienced alumni that want to give back to their alma mater and enrolled students but they don’t live in the same city and are most often only solicited for donations. Students, however, attend that school because of their respected programs and resulting successful alumni. They aspire to be like them, but are currently disconnected from past graduates. The task of bringing them together and guiding these young minds is often left to a handful of staff who are already doing a million other things. By streamlining mentorship, Mentorly adds value to any university or organization. Mentorly, most recently is working with MIT!
“Finally something truly helpful in the world of art education and an opening gate & path to realizing a dream for many more creative people! (...) Linking people who want to learn with the people who have paid their dues and achieved a measure of success in their discipline has been rare and often extremely expensive. You are changing that!” - Barbara Rogers

I am Christy Lee, better known as Christybomb, a visual artist based out of New York City and Charleston, WV. The "Christybomb" moniker was given to me by friends because of the energy and vivaciousness embodied within my art. I was born in Louisville, Kentucky and graduated from the University of North Florida with a bachelor's degree in biology and a minor in public health. In spite of my research biologist training, I ultimately came to the realization that creating art could be more than a hobby.
This realization occurred when I was living in Japan after the tsunami and earthquake of 2011, with the subsequent reflection and introspection that resulted from this upheaval. I was inspired to create a completely self-taught portfolio of work, which resulted in my acceptance into the prestigious MFA Fine Arts program at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where I received my MFA in Fine Arts degree.
One of the more significant accomplishments of my formal education was bringing glitter and other craft materials to academia, and exhibiting them in academic spaces. My art practice has developed in such a way that I now pull from my scientific background, my self-taught art training, as well as from my academic, traditional artist education. I would say that it is the marriage of these aspects of my background and personality that have resulted in my unconventional style.
Since then, I have shown both at major art fairs and in international exhibitions as well as having completed large commissions for public spaces. My work has been acquired by major private collections and a foreign museum. More recently, I have also ventured into Design, where I have worldwide exclusive licensing representation. I continue to exhibit my work regularly at a variety of venues and locations.

The artwork and their respective narratives are currently being compiled into a book. This book will also feature expository writings on the topic of childhood sexual abuse, current medical research, and critical analysis of what we can do as a society in relation to childhood sexual abuse and exploitation.

In this episode, artist Justin Vining shares his story of going through Law School and building a sustainable art career from the ground up.
Justin Vining is an Indianapolis-based artist, specializing in landscapes and cityscapes. Justin studied Art Education at Purdue University and taught elementary art for three years. Following his tenure as a teacher, Justin attended Valparaiso Law school, where he rekindled his love for creating between classes and clerking. Shortly after graduating and passing the bar in 2010, Justin decided to pursue art full time and hasn’t looked back since.
Originally from a small farm town in Indiana, Justin finds inspiration from American regionalist painters and WPA-era public works. In his progress as a full-time artist, his artwork has evolved from bright, whimsical watercolors and acrylics to more classical oil scenes. In his exploration of oils, he’s begun working en plein air and exploring more muted, natural tones. In 2017, Justin plans on continuing his exploration in oils, balancing this new found love of plain air painting with his studio work.

“Domestic Disturbances”
Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art, Chicago August 4 - October 1, 2017 Alberto Aguilar, Robert Burnier, Lily Dithrich, Victoria Fuller, Alyssa Miserendino and Alison Ruttan, curated by Victoria Fuller Opening Reception: Friday, August 4, 2017, 6-9pm
Artist Talk & Performance: Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 2pm
“Domestic Disturbances” is an exhibition of work relating to the home, the human condition, and how our lives are reflected in what we call home. Issues represented in the work of Alberto Aguilar, Robert Burnier, Lily Dithrich, Victoria Fuller, Alyssa Miserendino and Alison Ruttan deal with what constitutes a home, and how homes reflect our selves, outwardly and psychologically.
In this exhibition, Robert Burnier’s suspended tent installation suggests the impermanence of home, whether in the urban environment, or in war-torn countries. So too does Alison Ruttan find urgent subject matter in the displacement of people, with ceramic sculptures of bombed buildings in Syria. In his photographs and installations, Alberto Aguilar explores formal and personal connections to objects from his own home, and from the homes of local Ukrainian Village residents. Lily Dithrich and Victoria Fuller also draw from everyday domestic objects; the former finds hidden meaning through the manipulation of furniture, and the latter manifests ordinary household items in extraordinary ways. Alyssa Miserendino re-photographs the photographs made by her father, who coped with a personality disorder by using a camera to connect with his family and home life.
Homes have such a deep connection to our identity and it is where our most intimate moments play out, for better and for worse. The loss of home by war, disaster, or economic hardship can be devastating. Objects we collect are both personal and impersonal – some have a personal history, and connect to our personal identity, and others are of throwaway value or simply utilitarian. The artists in “Domestic Disturbances” approach the subject of home through psychological and symbolic perspectives, as well as situational ones.

Surface Tension: Beauty and Fragility in Lake Michigan A collaboration project between by Nelson Armour and Ted Glasoe
It’s a beautiful summer day in Chicago. The sun beats down on the azure waters of Lake Michigan, the fifth-largest lake in the world. Gentle waves lap the sands of a beach. Puffy clouds drift across the sky. But no one is in the water. The lifeguards stand watch over an empty beach.
Why? Because raw sewage has fouled the water. It was released into the lake after a torrential rain overwhelmed the municipal storm sewers. This scene has become all too common along the shores of Lake Michigan and in much of the world’s water supply.
But untreated municipal sewage overflows are only one of the threats to the health of our water. For example, according to the Alliance for the Great Lakes (greatlakes.org), other major areas of concern for Lake Michigan are nutrient runoff/algae growth, plastic and plastic microbeads, pollution from petroleum refineries and other industries, pharmaceutical pollution, and invasive species. So we are faced with two uncomfortable realities: Lake Michigan is a beautiful, vast, life-sustaining natural wonder and, at the same time, a valuable resource under silent siege from pollution and other perils.
In Surface Tension, we explore these opposing realities. Ted Glasoe’s photographs of Lake Michigan invite us to contemplate and appreciate the lake’s power and its ever-changing moods, textures and colors. Each of these is juxtaposed with a Nelson Armour photograph of the lake altered to unsettle the viewer. These multilayered images reveal the unseen forces and traumas that threaten the lake.
Surface Tension challenges viewers to reconcile the outward beauty of Lake Michigan with the dangers that lie beneath the surface. It also asks that we all consider how our water is being polluted and what we can do to protect our water supply.

Background on CARAVAN, the global coordinating body
The I AM exhibition builds upon nine successful years of strategic East-West arts initiatives implemented by CARAVAN. CARAVAN is an international peacebuilding arts NGO that originated in Cairo, Egypt in 2009, with the objective of building bridges through the arts between the creeds and cultures of the Middle East and West.
CARAVAN’s experience demonstrates that the arts can serve as one of the most effective mediums to enhance understanding, bring about respect, enable sharing, and deepen friendships between those of different cultures and faiths in the Middle East and the West. A flagship initiative of CARAVAN is the globally recognized annual CARAVAN Exhibition of Art, a unique arts initiative that brings together many of the premier and emerging artists from the Middle East and the West. These CARAVAN exhibitions have resulted in unprecedented gatherings of renowned Middle Eastern and Western artists who use art for intercultural and interreligious dialogue. These exhibitions have garnered attention from the international press, media and art world, and attract thousands of visitors. For more information on CARAVAN, see: www.oncaravan.org
Following on from the strategic successes of the CARAVAN peacebuilding art initiatives, the I AM exhibition takes the same message of intercultural and interreligious understanding and harmony around the world.

Anabel was born in La Habana, Cuba, in 1974, in a Cuba that was picturesque, quirky and resourceful – a Cuba that laughed through the pain – characteristics that are reflected in her own persona. Her family left Cuba for Spain when she was 9, and there her father secured a scholarship for her to a private Catholic school. It was here that she began to acquire her appreciation for art, at that time mostly for the great classic artists and their works; and it was here that her formation as a self-taught artist commenced.
She was uprooted again at 14 when her family moved to the US, to Miami, like so many other Cuban exiles, to make a new life.
Her high school education complete, she studied Business Administration, deaf to the voice of her soul that constantly reminded her that her passion is art and that her life should follow that passion. And so she graduated from college very well prepared to “make a living”, but empty and dissatisfied; knowing that making a living is not equal to living itself, but blind to her true calling and not knowing where to turn. In the midst of this existential search for meaning her life suddenly took a 180 degree turn and she decided to become a nun, entering religious life.
She entered two different congregations in different parts of the world, first in Miami, followed by service in Fatima, Portugal. During eight years of religious service, bound by vows of obedience, chastity and poverty, she anonymously produced dozens of art works in different mediums; works that currently grace churches, convents and the homes of private church patrons.
In 2011, after much soul searching, she envisioned a different future for herself and left religious life, returning to Miami, to face new challenges and create a new future – a future where her art, now free and without restrictions, truly reflects the journey to self-acceptance that has been her life.
Today Anabel lives with her partner and their two dogs in Coconut Grove, Florida.

More recently his mediums and concentrations have expanded to include photography. He shows his work in gallery exhibits frequently and his work is in private collections around the world.

Julia Martin’s latest series of paintings focus on single figure female faces, rendered with expressive lines and tonal complexity. Guided by instinct she explores line and color to develop compositions. Using layers of non-objective colors, Martin realizes unique faces on canvas that communicate individual personality and identity. Her wooden sculptural work complements her paintings conceptually and enables her the freedom to explore a more hands on process. Martin searches for inspiration within herself to make art that expresses what she knows and feels as a woman. “The feminine flows freely out of me for obvious reason, but there’s a cocktail of deep-seated strength and vulnerability in women that I find utterly fascinating.”
Buddy JacksonBuddy Jackson’s new series of paintings, gum dichromate prints, and bronze sculptures highlight body and facial expressions, which poignantly evoke the beauty, strength, and vulnerability that permeates the human condition. Jackson’s focus on representing women comes from his admiration of their perseverance despite inequalities “little boys are taught by society—by school, by coaches, by their dads, by their moms, by everybody—that feminine traits are bad. But then we expect these little boys to grow up and respect women. Jackson’s representations of women are guided by what he sees in himself and his rejection of binary gender stereotypes that restrict men and women from revealing their authentic physical and emotional selves.
Curator’s Note (Sara Lee Burd)One objective of this exhibition is to introduce artworks by two prominent Nashville artists to Chicago. I am interested in beginning a conversation about art from the South. While many Southern artists receive national and international recognition, many remain underrepresented in terms of prevalence and prominence. An exhibition such as this is an opportunity to see two artistic voices that are examples of the fine art being produced in Nashville, TN. Martin and Jackson do not represent the whole of art from the south. In fact there is no single narrative of southern art, but these artists are significant contributors to the fabric of the rich, diverse art being produced. Martin and Jackson create skilled, imaginative artworks with eclectic color and form and whose subjects and details provoke contemplative moments.
Ali Cavanaugh (American, b. 1973) is an internationally represented fine artist. She earned a BFA from Kendall College of Art and Design in 1995. She has painted portraits for TIME magazine and The New York Times. She currently lives in St Louis, Missouri with her husband and their four children.
Beth Inglish is an artist and emerging leader in Nashville, TN who serves the community by creating spaces for people to connect. Beth uses an “intuitive” painting process to express her creative energy within. Her instincts and energy lead the way, choosing colors by feeling and using line to create pathways that connect one moment to the next. She opens her heart to connect with the viewer in hopes that they feel what she feels. “If I can tell their story through my story then we can discover that we’re not alone and walk together.” Beth is also the founder of Tennessee’s largest creative network, The Nashville Creative Group. She has partnered with numerous organizations, nonprofits and communities using her experience in business and art to bring people together online and offline. Her critical eye and thoughtful process work together to help people achieve their goals creatively and collaboratively.

For twenty-five years, Candace Wark has been a Mechanical and Aerospace engineering professor at Illinois Institute of Technology specializing in the field of aerodynamics and utilizing photography in her research. Shirley Nannini worked as a high school teacher, coach and administrator at Evanston Township High School for over thirty years and reinvented herself by actively pursuing her passion for photography. A student wind tunnel project led to a series of steps and turns that evolved into an intriguing art form that neither anticipated and both are enthralled with. The result has been a resolute artistic endeavor and collaboration formalized in June 2012 as Wind Flow Photography.
Krista Hoefle received her MFA in Sculpture from Penn State University, and her BFA in Furniture Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her curatorial style focuses on audience engagement and education, producing exhibits that are interactive and include text, artist talks, and panel discussions that spark dialogue and provide insight into the concepts and theory that play into the artwork. Her own art work is playful with a purpose, engaging the viewers own biases and judgements and forcing them to "judge" the figure she paints. She has exhibited her work in several exhibitions throughout the Midwest and her work resides in several collections including that of well known Chicago collector Howard Tullman.Rebecca Stahr is a visual artist living with her husband and son in a conservation community surrounded by the beautiful native prairie of northern Illinois. She is a member of various professional organizations and has work displayed in many private collections and public gallery spaces in the greater Chicago and Milwaukee areas.
For over the past 10 years, Rebecca has been struggling with a growing battle of auto-immune illness and chronic pain. Rebecca has learned to use this pain as a lens which informs her art. Rebecca’s art is inspired by being able to find beauty and value in the broken, as well as the impermanence and cycles of life and nature. The works created point toward a of reflection of deeper value and identity and enables compassion for humanity’s brokenness and imperfection.

The exhibition kicks off in Chicago at Next Level Gallery at the Zhou B Art Center co-curated by Sergio Gomez, Founder and Director of NXT Level Projects.
This collaboration invites the audience of both cities to think about art and the Artists that made the work in terms of context and questions the influence of place and time. Furthermore, the PARALLEL LIVES series will create a platform to expand the Artist’s reach to forge a wider sense of community and visibility.
Both events coincide with established community art events. The Chicago opening will occur on May 20th, during “Third Fridays”, a longstanding monthly program initiated by Sergio Gomez that has created a robust audience around the Artists at the Zhou B Art Center. The New York opening takes center stage in Bushwick during an annual weekend summer arts festival, that is now a major attraction for the New York art audience.
Julia Haw (b. 1982, Flint, MI) attended Western Michigan University with a concentration in painting. She is recognized for her highly bold, nostalgia-inducing and memory-staining paintings. She deals with issues rooted in personal life, Midwestern culture and Western Culture at large that delve into feminism, ageism, memory deterioration, death, intimacy and confrontation. She uses oil paint on cotton or linen as her mainstay medium, in order to achieve empathetic coverage of these socially and emotionally shared issues, and has been able to achieve considerable viewer pause through her dedicated work habit, vibrant color choices, straightforward subject matter, and by using people and objects within her community as models. Haw’s paintings tend to function as highly relatable, ensuing discussion amongst viewers, and bringing the public forum necessarily back. Her work has been exhibited in such places as the Chicago Cultural Center, IL State Museum, and extensively with Claire Molek.

Mandy Cano Villalobos mingles cultural histories and personal narrative to make sense of nostalgic sentiments and life’s ephemerality. Her materials include dirt, human hair, and pig blood, which she employs as a dual symbol of filth and redemption. In the Sisyphus series, the artist repetitively marks the paper with circular patterns, thus transforming the action of painting into a meditative ritual. Erogenous and mournful, Modern Day Magdalene is a bed of burlap and human hair, a quiet reflection upon the disappointments and desires of an aging woman. Among these pieces and others, Cano Villalobos provides a thoughtful, somewhat sad pause, through which viewers might recognize their own vulnerabilities amidst her visceral materials and the stories she grafts into her work.

Born in Iran to the daughter of a civil engineer, and an educated artist, Sarvin Haghighi experienced great joys, and harsh challenges. In a very short while, the pendulum would swing from privilege and independence to experiencing war firsthand, and the most basic of freedoms revoked. for Sarvin, the answer was art.
Sarvin Haghighi merges traditional Iranian art forms with a contemporary sensibility. In combining Farsi calligraphy and Islamic architectural designs with mixed media (including resin and gold leaf) and bold lines and framing, Haghighi affirms the enduring aesthetic of a culture that is too often represented through the limited lenses of war and political turmoil. The meticulous composition of these works share the laconic beauty of Rumi’s poetry, which ultimately works to create and emotionally resonant homage to tradition in the frantic modern world.

Wesley Kimler was born in Billings, Montana. Largely self-taught, his college campus was effectively a conflation of the streets of Afghanistan, the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and the Laguna Gloria School of Art in Austin, Texas. His work can be found in many collections, private and public. Of his work in the group show Constellations at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Margaret Hawkins --critic for the Chicago Sun Times-- said: But categories hardly matter. Perhaps the most stunning gallery is also the largest and most loosely defined, the room devoted to fantasy. It is anchored by two enormous paintings -- a Chuck Close portrait of Cindy Sherman on one end and Wesley Kimler's tour de force "Umurbrogol," which despite its somber subject features vast swaths of delicious pink and purple paint. Some of the less imposing works here may be as memorable. William Baziotes' "Cat" is a satisfying discovery, as is Brice Marden's abstract meditation on the light and color of olive groves in Greece.

His broader engagement with the arts also involves arts administration, curation, and community facilitation, all which feed into his larger practice.
Faheem’s solo exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago runs from March 10 to August 16, 2015.
Serena Kovalosky is a sculptor, curator, cultural project developer and owner of Artful Vagabond Productions whose mission is to celebrate the creativity and inspiration that artists bring to this world and to promote the arts as a viable and valuable commodity in today's society.
Serena began her career in the travel industry. After 18 years, she traded her suitcase for an artist’s loft in Montreal, Canada to pursue her talents as a professional artist. Returning to the U.S., she began transferring her project management skills to the art world and co-founded the juried biennial Open Studios of Washington County which to date has brought over $200,000 in art revenue as well as increased tourism to this rural New York community.
In 2014, Serena curated and produced the five-month Slate as Muse National Art Exhibition at the Slate Valley Museum and was recently invited to speak at the Museum Association of New York's Annual Conference about the exhibition's success.
Serena has exhibited her work widely. She has appeared on the television programs, done numerous interviews on print and radio, and has written hundreds of articles on artists from around the world for the Artful Vagabond art blogsite.
