The Awake Yoga Meditation Podcast
Dear Feel Love Now Community,
You were born whole, perfect, and radiant—this is the truth of who you are. From the yogic tradition to the words of Jesus and the Psalms, spiritual teachings remind us again and again: You are divine.
You are a child of immortal bliss. You don’t need to earn your worth—it’s your very nature. Let this reflection guide you back to your wholeness. Let it help you see yourself and others with new eyes.
Here’s one of our favorite quotes from Swami Nityananda
“It’s incredible because your self-worth is inherent to who you are. There’s nothing that you ever need to do to earn it. From the yogic perspective, you are born whole and complete and beautiful and perfect.
"Our opportunity or invitation is, how much can I allow myself to unfold what the Upanishads say of each of us: You are children of immortal bliss. So, just for a moment, turn and greet yourself as a child of immortal bliss and then notice. Look around the room. Look at all the other children of immortal bliss who are here. I’ll also just mention, that’s not a teaching that only comes from the Upanishads.
“Jesus says, ‘Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?’ That’s from John chapter 10 if you want to go back at look at it. Then, from the Hebrew Bible, this is from Psalm 82 if you want to go back and look at it: ‘I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.’
“So, our self-worth is remembering and reclaiming our own intrinsic wholeness and doing that in the face of anything in time and space that seems to limit us or that seems to say there’s something wrong with us or that we don’t meet some standard.”
We recently shared this video on YouTube, but wanted you to be able to have it on your Substack video player as well, in case you prefer that.
Having it on Substack makes it easy for you to see any other podcasts, videos, articles, or full meditation services that might be available in the Truth, Love, & Justice Series by clicking here.
If you have heard this teaching before, we invite you — as Swami so often invites us — to hear it as if you are hearing it for the first time. Often we receive these teachings right when we need them.
