Ford has arrived on Lamuella and having been knocked out twice by Random (who then disappeared off with the new version of the Guide to find Earth) has met up with a bewildered Arthur and persuaded him to try and get off the planet by riding on a Perfectly Normal Beast through a rip in reality at the end of Anhondo Plains...
