Five children have dared to spend the night in Howling House and already this sleepover has become the stuff of their deepest, darkest nightmares. First, they encountered a strange cat that spoke a dire omen before it ran away. Then, they discovered a grotesque rat creature living in the walls - and it had a human face. But perhaps most shameful and disturbing of all - the truth came out that Tommy Northwood, proud Boy Scout, stole his scoutmaster’s knife. The lazy days of summer are at an end and school is about to begin... but for five Arkham youths, reading, writing, and 'rithmetic is the least of their worries. They're spending the night in a notorious abandoned house and local legends say no one has ever lived to tell the tale.
Of course, no sane schoolkid would dare to trespass in Howling House, but twelve-year-old Tenderfoot, Tommy "Woods" Northwood, his precocious kid sister Chelsea, and a forlorn little boy known only as "Dirt" don't have a choice. Roger Simmons, the neighborhood bully, and his protégé, Joey Davenport, have the leverage and pugilistic prowess to make a very convincing argument.
Will they survive to see the sunrise, or is there something sinister waiting for them in that decrepit domicile?

Mystery Program showrunner, Cat Blackard, and Keeper, Luke Stram, interview Chris Spivey of Darker Hue Studios, author of the award-winning Call of Cthulhu sourcebook, Harlem Unbound.
Harlem Unbound dynamically explores the real world history, personalities, social intricacies, and Lovecraftian mythos in 1920s New York City and Harlem; while confronting racism in that time period and as a part of the roleplaying experience. We speak with Chris about the challenges of bringing this project to life, the brand-new Second Edition from Chaosium, how to thoughtfully and safely explore racism in RPGs, and get juicy details on the jaw-droppingly expansive scope of his next major project, Haunted West.

They hope to discover more as they venture up to her attic apartment.
Meanwhile, after examining the scene of the crime, Ex-Federal agent Spade is convinced the young woman died from a bear attack - even though experienced tracker Hank Jr. can find no proof of animal or man having caused her untimely demise. The denizens of Big Momma’s boarding house were shaken from their sleep by a shrill scream and ghastly news! A police officer came a-calling with questions about their housemate, Hannah Pickering, who had been found dead. But it wasn't Hannah's scream they heard - that was their kindly landlord being savagely attacked by fellow tenant, Father Grandfather. The elderly bible salesman was taken into custody for his assault; yet shockingly this lunatic appears to not have been the murderer.
Now, as the sun rises over Arkham, light is cast on the sinister leavings of the cruel night. These five unlikely companions find themselves faced with a mystery and a benefactor that can make it worth their while to solve it.

The theatre is a magical place. A place where fact becomes fiction, fantasy becomes flesh… the human experience is laid bare! Fitting then that Boston’s Monarch Theater should be the site of a horrendous ritual that also happens to be a stage play... a diabolical work called The King in Yellow.
If performed, it wouldn't just be the dénouement for our heroes, but perhaps the world as we know it.

Housed within the hallowed halls of the Miskatonic University library is one of the few known copies of The Necronomicon - a tome of the unknown - of death, and power. Seekers of arcane knowledge are drawn to it. So it should be no surprise that Estelle Thorpe’s path has led her here.
While half of the troupe journey to the wilds of Essex, Ms. Thorpe is accompanied by gambler, Kenneth Roger, and good time girl, Cherry Featherbottom, to consult the impossibly rare book. A book which the late Charles Pell, presumed dead peddler of obscurities, had hoped to reference in his nefarious dealings.
