The Calm Mom – Burnout, Anxiety, Nervous System, Mindset, Self-Care, Parenting, Work-Life Balance
We all share a universal human need to be loved. And sometimes we can feel pressure to do (or have) certain things in order to feel accepted by the people we care about or look up to.
I get it – self-doubt, imposter syndrome, comparison, fear of judgment – all this stuff will take a mile if we give it an inch. So, we’ve gotta be really discerning about what (and whom) we allow to validate us as women.
In today’s episode, we explore the only two options for seeking validation and approval – externally or internally. Listen in as I explore what it means to seek external validation vs. internal validation, and how we can be more intentional about what’s guiding our self-perception and worthiness.
P.S. Have you heard the big news?! The Motherhood Podcast is getting a makeover! Stay tuned as big changes are coming to the podcast name and cover art. No worries – we’ll still be serving you the same great content 3x a week!
