“The common theme is the experience of chronic demands. These demands might not necessarily result from stress; you might genuinely enjoy what you do and love your children and job. However, the constant demands place ongoing stress on your body, which can trigger hormonal changes. These changes often manifest in elevated cortisol levels within the adrenals, leading to thyroid issues and disruptions in hormones such as estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone.
