#185 The Challenge 40 EP11 Roundtable Recap: Payback Era... Midseason Recap w/ Alex Brizard

Hey Fandom! Welcome back for another episode of Roundtable Recap with your Challenge Fandom Podcast hosts Rick, Corrina, Tony and Katie! Plus, since we're halfway through the season, we have our midseason special guest Alex Brizard here to break down everything from this episode and the highlight moments this season leading up to it. Once we break into the actual recap, we cover everything from how Johnny Bananas and Tori Deal feel like they're flipping game styles this season, who is the new era face of this show, why Bananas didn't pick Cara Maria and how we felt about Kyland going toe to toe with Bananas. Next we break down Banana's gameplay over the last 5 seasons and debate whether or not Bananas had another other choice of action other than what transpired on this episode of Challenge 40. We also break the daily down including the odd choices for editing, how we felt about the DQ scenarios, Theo's fall from grace and are Cara and Tori living the same Challenge arc? We also breakdown the strategies behind each side of the sand and debate what our own approaches to this game would be. To close everything out we discuss why we feel Kyland is so taylor made for this show, Michele in dailies VS Michele in eliminations, how we feel about these targets that will most likely be wasted on next episode's purge, predictions for Karma Points, MVPs and winner predictions.
