This week on The Christian Wellbeing Show, Michelle Simpson introduces the first of her Five Simple Steps to Healthy Living and the importance of eating the right foods.
Focusing on carbohydrates and whole foods, Michelle emphasises the benefits of consuming foods as close to their natural state as possible and how avoiding highly processed foods containing preservatives, artificial colours, and refined sugars is essential in your quest for a healthier you.
Michelle discusses the difference between simple carbohydrates and complex carbohydrates, and the potential adverse effects on your health such as Type 2 diabetes if you consume the wrong type. By providing practical advice on transitioning to a diet rich in whole foods, this episode aims to guide listeners toward healthier eating habits and a healthier life.
