Cut Off! Surviving the Nightmare of Parental Alienation & Estrangement 2

45 min • 24 juli 2024

This is part 2 of Michelle’s discussion with Debbie Richens on the painful issue of parental alienation and estrangement.

Looking at influences of divorce, social media, peers, and even counsellors on parental alienation, the pair discuss the mental, emotional, and physical effects of being cut off from family, including conditions like broken heart syndrome and fibromyalgia.

Highlighting isolation tactics used by certain groups and the emotional and health impacts it has on victims, the episode also touches on the impact of parental alienation on children and grandparents, and the importance of organizations and support systems.

For those facing these challenges, Debbie offers practical advice and recommendations on how and where to receive the support you need.
