One of the things that makes David Fincher's The Social Network such a compelling film is how complex, brilliant and ultimately unknowable its main character is. What Sorkin, Fincher and, of course Jesse Eisenberg do with the fictitious version of one of the most powerful and influential men in the world today is almost to draw us in by pushing us away. It is a fascinating performance and Scott, John and Steve have a fantastic time dissecting it in part 2 of their exploration of The Social Network.
