Here is the voice of our inner critic….. do you ever hear yourself say this?:

I’m not good enough, I’m not clever enough, I’m too old, I’m not smart enough, I’m not successful enough, I’m not beautiful enough, I’m not strong enough, I’m not interesting enough, I’m not thin enough, I’m not rich enough!!  Oh, the list goes on and on and on!!!!

We all have self-destructive and negative thoughts, and we can’t shut them off, no one is immune to it even the most confident, successful people have a negative inner critic.  But what we can do is learn how to control this inner voice when she does pop up, and how to take the charge off the emotion we feel when we are overly critical of ourselves.
