Episode 53: Soul Discussions (Festive Interview with FOA Cooperative) Greetings Divine Feminine Podcast Family. Join us for soul discussion with Monique. She is the owner of the FOA Cooperative, a black and indigenous owned grocery store located in San Diego. She is also co-owner of Soul Goddess, which offers alternative healing modalities focused on utilizing the earth and providing chlorophyll infused supplements.
In this touching discussion we learn more about the FOA Cooperatives initiatives to honor those who have come before us, by supporting our communities health needs by relying on natural, holistic, and spiritual methods. We also reminisce about the atmosphere of healing at the Divine Feminine Festive in San Diego and the FOA’s holistic contributions to that energy.
Then we open ourselves up to have a vulnerable discussion of what it means to live a holistic life and how we transitioned out of mainstream society and religion. We recount our spiritual journey and touch on some common obstacles black women divesting from the system face. We talk about the challenges in family, education, parenting, lifestyle, food, medicine, relationships, friendships and how to navigate through shifts in our own paradigms.
