Ever wonder if we can dream in multiplayer with our friends and family? Well, we can and its called shared (or mutual) dreaming.
The phenomenon of shared dreaming is not as rare as you may think, and is becoming increasingly prominent especially as more people start to practice lucid dreaming and intend to reach the dream world together. Mutual Dreaming suggests indicates that some dreams may posses elements of a consensus reality. Dr Stephan LaBerge of The Lucidity Institute believes that mutual dreaming experiments in the lab can test the objective reality of shared dream worlds. Dreaming of others, especially while lucid, really contains an essence of that person's soul, rather than just your brains projection of who they are to you.
In this episode, Vilma, Martin & I talk about shared dreams, and even techniques such as PAL (or Partner Assisted Lucidity) breaks down that wall of private minds and turns lucid dream exploration into a social event.
