The Egg Whisperer Show

My mother and grandmother went through menopause at 42. I'm 37, should I freeze my eggs? (Ask The Egg Whisperer)

33 min • 1 januari 2022

Megan wrote in to ask The Egg Whisperer about freezing her eggs. She's 37, and tragically lost her fiancé last year.

Here's what she had to say, "Hi, Dr. Aimee. I got my eggs frozen at 36, after my fiancé passed away. I got 13 eggs. My AMH was 5.7. FSH was 5, and it's now a year later. And I'm still worried about my chances. I really want two kids someday. Should I freeze more eggs when I can? FYI, my mother and grandmother both went through menopause at 42. Thank you for your time and advice."

You can hear my answer in this episode, along with answers to other listener questions.
