On a recent episode of Ask The Egg Whisperer, Mary sent in a question. She's 33 and has been trying to conceive for two years.
Here’s what she wrote, “I've been trying for our first baby for the past two years. I had a miscarriage this past summer, and I'm now seeing a fertility doc to see if IVF is the right choice for me.
The blood work came out pretty much fine. Tubes are open, and my uterus looks good. So I'm not sure why we're not able to conceive naturally. My husband and I have also gone through genetic testing. I carry a gene for thalassemia. Do you suggest I go for IVF or try other methods first? And what all questions should I be asking my REI before deciding on IVF?"
