The first adaptation of Roald Dahls' Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was a huge success. Just because it worked the first time doesn't mean it was going to for a second. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory may have been financially successful but that doesn't mean the portrayal of the chocolate maker was.
