Israel continues to target weapons caches in Syria after the fall of dictator Bashar al-Assad's government in an effort to keep dangerous weaponry out of the hands of Muslim extremists. IDF troops have entered and will remain in the Golan buffer zone for the first time since 1973. The rebel faction 'HTS' were responsible for leading a quick military charge to take control of the capital city but they may not be the best choice to govern as their leader has been designated a terrorist since 2013.
