Roden, Eastern Tennesse. A town hidden within the shadows of a mountain. A place even it’s own people would be pressured to find on a map. Land rich in hunting and forage, and most importantly gold. Why to those strong enough to take it, Roden was heaven sent, a gift from god, and it? It lured them in like swine to the slaughter. 

Starting as little more than a collection of tents, the place grew into solid timber and iron. Those filled with greed and desire found what they desired and took it for their own, and they thrived. That had been a long time ago. Now, Roden had one resident—two if you counted It. Three if you counted Ezekiel Graves, which you shouldn’t, considering that he planned on getting the hell of dodge as soon as they took care of the problem that was…It.

Vera Fowley, once Vera Foxkey, was mother, widow, and homeless. What she most decidedly was not was a witch. Chased by the ghosts of her past from St.Louis into the wild west of Texas, she must face her family's legacy to save her daughter and, more importantly, the world from a whole new existence filled with demons and monsters. 

She must face the secrets of her past to discover the power within.
