Martin Barkman is senior vice president and head of solution management for SAP S/4HANA and Digital Supply Chain.  Martin’s global organization owns the growth strategy of SAP’s enterprise management, finance, and supply chain solution portfolio, which encompasses cloud software for R&D/engineering, enterprise resource planning, finance & risk, service & asset management, supply chain planning, manufacturing, logistics, and quote-to-cash.  These solutions enable enterprises to become more intelligent and sustainable by developing new business models to avoid being disrupted, gaining efficiencies to fund innovation, and transforming mission-critical systems without business risk.

Martin joined SAP in 2013 following SAP’s acquisition of SmartOps Corporation, where Martin served as the Chief Executive Officer.  Founded in 2001, SmartOps was a venture capital backed, leading supply chain technology company that pioneered software for multistage, stochastic inventory optimization and machine learning based demand sensing.  Prior to becoming CEO in 2012, Martin was Executive Vice President of Global Operations for SmartOps, where he led worldwide business development, sales, marketing, alliances, professional services, and customer success. 

In his career, Martin developed a broad technology and management experience through roles ranging from corporate strategy consulting at McKinsey & Company to product supply and manufacturing management at Procter & Gamble.  In 2022 Martin was named by Supply Chain Digital as a top 10 supply chain global influencer.

Martin earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering with Distinction from Cornell University and later an MBA in Finance as a Palmer Scholar from the Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.

In this role he has global responsibility for the development, delivery, and product management of SAP S/4HANA, as well as the Digital Supply Chain portfolio. With SAP S/4HANA, customers have the choice to balance standardization with customization when running their mission critical processes with an intelligent, sustainable ERP system. Jan is also a member of the SAP Engineering Senior Leadership Team.

Prior to his current role, Jan had worked in SAP’s IT Organization as Head of Enterprise Architecture and later as Head of IT Business Services, since 2016. He reported to SAP’s global CIO, representing SAP IT internally and externally. In this role he was responsible for implementing a significant portion of SAP’s product portfolio. He drove SAP IT’s agile transformation and in this way his organization was essential in supporting SAP to become an Intelligent Enterprise.

He moved to the US in 2008 to lead SAP’s Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Practice for North America Consulting. He then worked in the Office of the CEO as part of SAP’s Corporate Strategy Group on Portfolio Strategy and in the Office of the CTO before joining the North America Field Organization in various business development roles as Value and Enterprise Architect.

He is an experienced global and regional finance executive with a proven track record of driving sustainable growth and leading through business transformations. He did hold many positions in Finance & Controlling in his 23 years at SAP.

Andreas Kirchebner is SAP Security Lead in Austria and has the role as global main contact for SAP Cloud Security and SAP Hardening. He also serves as spokesman of the working group for SAP Cloud Security at Deutschsprachige SAP-Anwendergruppe e.V. (DSAG).

He began his SAP career as an SAP Basis Administrator at Swarovski in 2008. After 9 years, he started to focus on SAP Security and was given responsibility for a secure configuration and operation and a proper security management for the entire SAP environment at Swarovski. In his role he was also in charge of aligning and translating SAP security with the information security team.

With the decision to focus on SAP Security, Andreas found a new passion and started to contribute to the German-speaking user group, DSAG, and was therefore elected as the spokesman of the SAP Cloud Security working group in 2019.
