Jay Thoden van Velzen is Strategic Advisor to the CSO at SAP and a member of the SAP Global Security Leadership Team, specifically focused on cloud security strategy during ongoing cloud transformation. 

He was at the forefront of SAP’s cloud security transformation through multiple annual initiatives supported by the Executive Board, helped grow the Multicloud Security organization, and brought teams together across the company to drive effective security improvements and organizational accountability. During this time, SAP saw rapid Multicloud migration and growth from 2,500 cloud accounts to 15,000, during the global COVID pandemic and geopolitical changes. 

Jay is an SAP veteran, joining through the BusinessObjects acquisition, and worked in Consulting, Development and Cloud Security Operations, and is now in his fourth Board Area. Through that experience, he is acutely aware, therefore, of the importance of SAP solutions for the business operations of our customers, and the resulting responsibility SAP carries to secure those workloads in the cloud.

He has lived half of his life in the UK and half in the United States.

He is a frustrated, failed musician who spent several years working in NYC and Hollywood, CA in the music industry working with major label recording artists and film studios. He has a double platinum disk for his work with a megastar to prove he used to be cool once.

Paul lives in a very remote location in Scotland. Fortunately, he has good internet.

Mindy Davis is Vice President of Global Marketing for SAP Digital Supply Chain.  Mindy’s global marketing organization owns the marketing strategy of SAP’s supply chain solution portfolio, which encompasses cloud software for R&D/engineering, supply chain planning, manufacturing, logistics, and service & asset management. These solutions enable enterprises to become more intelligent and sustainable by developing new business models to avoid being disrupted, gaining efficiencies to fund innovation, and transforming mission-critical systems without business risk.

Mindy joined SAP in 2004, after establishing herself as a leader in product marketing in the software industry at both Siebel Systems and PeopleSoft. In her tenure at SAP, Mindy has held various roles in marketing, partner alliances, merchandising, and business development. Mindy is passionate about building world class teams to successfully launch exceptional products, and is a strategic thought leader and subject matter expert, possessing a depth and breadth of marketing and business knowledge to provide sound, innovative strategic leadership and initiatives while ensuring the preservation of and link between product, industry, field and marketing is maintained. 

Mindy earned her B.S. in Marketing at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and later an MBA in Marketing from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University.

Mindy was recently featured on the front cover of CIO Look Magazine in 2022 as one of the 10 most influential leaders in supply Chain. She hosted a very well received LinkedIn Live series for Women in Supply Chain and speaks regularly at events around the world, including SAP’s flagship customer event SAP Sapphire.

Robert (Bob) J. Merlo is responsible for marketing the SAP Digital Supply Chain solutions globally. Mindy Davis is Vice President of Global Marketing for SAP Digital Supply Chain.  Mindy’s global marketing organization owns the marketing strategy of SAP’s supply chain solution portfolio, which encompasses cloud software for R&D/engineering, supply chain planning, manufacturing, logistics, and service & asset management. These solutions enable enterprises to become more intelligent and sustainable by developing new business models to avoid being disrupted, gaining efficiencies to fund innovation, and transforming mission-critical systems without business risk.

Mindy joined SAP in 2004, after establishing herself as a leader in product marketing in the software industry at both Siebel Systems and PeopleSoft. In her tenure at SAP, Mindy has held various roles in marketing, partner alliances, merchandising, and business development. Mindy is passionate about building world class teams to successfully launch exceptional products, and is a strategic thought leader and subject matter expert, possessing a depth and breadth of marketing and business knowledge to provide sound, innovative strategic leadership and initiatives while ensuring the preservation of and link between product, industry, field and marketing is maintained. 

Mindy earned her B.S. in Marketing at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and later an MBA in Marketing from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University.

Mindy was recently featured on the front cover of CIO Look Magazine in 2022 as one of the 10 most influential leaders in supply Chain. She hosted a very well received LinkedIn Live series for Women in Supply Chain and speaks regularly at events around the world, including SAP’s flagship customer event SAP Sapphire.

Sunita has successfully led numerous digital transformations for Fortune 500 companies, spearheading the adoption of AI-driven solutions that have yielded measurable improvements in supply chain agility, responsiveness, and overall performance.

Sunita has published several articles on the future of supply chain and presented at numerous industry conferences. She is also involved in multiple foundations and organizations to champion diversity, equity and inclusion in the workforce. Jeff has additionally supported Rail, Agriculture, Pharma, and Energy clients with EAM Transformations.

 Jeff has a multidimensional foundation that includes functional/operational experience in addition to his technical skills. Matias Pollmann-Larsen is the Managing Director – Supply Chain & Operations, Sustainable Value Chain Lead at Accenture.  Matias has deep experience in transformation and large-scale change, having led several programs in international companies across consumer products, industrial and energy sectors.  As an expert on Sustainable Value Chains, on strategic aspects ranging net zero footprints, circularity and transparency / ESG risk management, he focuses on how firms can transform, with value and purpose. 

Matias authored a number of regional and global reports on sustainability, diversity, societal impact and the role of companies, and often shares strategic insights at conferences / leadership / board meetings.  He speaks fluent Italian, Spanish and English, skilled in Portuguese and Danish.  He serves in the board of the INDEXproject, a nonprofit organisation that promotes designs aimed at the improvement of life worldwide, and in the board of InnoAid.org, an NGO with an international outreach.
