How We Built Our Raised Beds (Part 2, The Low Tunnels)

Today's episode of the podcast is part two of how we built our raised beds, our low tunnels specifically!  There's lots of links for the materials mentioned in today's episode, but in addition to those, here is a general rundown of the materials you will need to make the low tunnels for one 4' x 12' raised bed:

• (8) 1/2" diameter rebar stakes that are 2' long
• (4) 1/2" inner diameter conduits that are 10' long
• conduit bender
• (8) conduit straps
• (1) 4' x 8' panel of polycarbonate corrugated plastic
• zip ties
• (4) washers and exterior screws to attach the plastic to the wood of your bed
• (2) plastic vents
• (4) 1" machined screws and nuts that fit the holes of the vents
• (8) washers that fit the above screws
• greenhouse plastic that is 10' wide by the length of your bed plus 3'
• greenhouse plastic clips
