Today's episode talks all about the things that have made my life better in February on our homestead.  A few of these things are kitchen and cooking related, like at home knife sharpening and easy and fast food preservation, but some are also skincare related, like a new sunscreen for the eye area and a neck pillow that has taken away all my neck pain and has made me a back sleeper!  Here's the links and recipes:

Black Pepper Tincture Recipe:

1. crack about a half inch of black pepper into a glass and let sit for at least 6 hours
2. strain black pepper and transfer liquid into another glass
3. add an equal amount of water and mix

Gin Cocktail Recipe:

1. 2 oz gin
2. heavy splash of Amaro liqeur
3. heavy splash of lime juice
4. 2 tsp of black pepper tincture
5. ice
6. top with lime Spindrift or other sparkling water
