My Garden Tactics for 2023!

As you know, I learned a lot in 2022 about growing most of our own food.  As last year progressed, I wrote down all the things I observed and the new ideas I had for this year, and today I have compiled all those things in one big list, as my tactics to take into the 2023 garden!  Some of the things I mention are:

• new companion planting strategies to help ward off cabbage moths
• beneficial nematodes to prevent flea beetles
• new succession planting strategies
• using quick maturing varieties of beets and cabbages
• using shredded leaves as mulch rather than wood chips
• planting tomatoes in raised mounds to help prevent early blight
