After 8 years of hard touring, the Eagles have gone through several lineup changes, and transformed from "Peaceful Easy Feeling" to "Teenage Jail". Not long after the recording of "The Long Run", Bob Felder slights Senator Alan Cranston with "You're Welcome... I guess", infuriating Glen Frey, Shortly thereafter, the trade threats while performing in Anaheim, and they break up. Despite substance dependencies, graded nerves, clashing egos, they make an album that surprisingly has sounds that are rarely played that we feel are better than the popular songs we all know.
