Here at the History Emporium & Pals we believe in equality.
It is against the law to discriminate against someone because of:
The shocking murder of Sarah Everard has highlighted an injustice that we know is faced by many women across the world:
Still paid less and often not valued in our society or dismissed by the out of touch government and systems we have in place in Britain.
You can get longer in prison for defacing a statue than if you assault a woman.
At the history emporium we stand in solidarity of those who gathered at the vigil in south London in memory of Sarah. We also support the right to protest.
Most of all we send our love to the family and friends of Sarah. She was just walking home.
We also continue to stand in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter campaign.
