Ep. 3 - Barriers to Entry into Trading and Collectible Card Games

Today on the podcast, Dan and Jim discuss how difficult it can be to get into trading card games (TCGs) and collectible card games (CCGs). TCGs and CCGs have been around for an extremely long time and have become extremely popular among the tabletop gaming community. If there is an intellectual property, chances are there is a TCG or CCG based around that IP. The guys really enjoy these kinds of games themselves and always enjoy playing matches of their favorite card games. Getting into these games can seem like a daunting task, however. In this episode, they discuss some of the barriers to entry that exist in getting into these games, and ultimately, why they think it is worth it to jump in and over those hurdles, and to not them scare you off.
