The Jed Herne Show

Good vs Bad Fantasy Prologues (Writing Advice)

16 min • 18 oktober 2023

"I used to hate prologues, but I've changed my mind." Today, I explore the unique narrative advantages a prologue can provide when compared to just starting with chapter one. Tolkein, and Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson.
