Amanda Wilson is one of New Zealand’s best show jumpers, alongside her sisters Kelly and Vicki she has dedicated her life to helping horses. Her passion is to bring more awareness to the psychological aspect of training a horse and how they process stress and store trauma. She hopes that her techniques will begin a new way of looking at horse behavior. Amanda’s famed pintos have sparked inspiration for countless young riders in NZ and beyond. She has helped save wild horses from slaughter and has passions for film, writing, and adventure. In this episode Amanda and Warwick discuss trauma-healing and how it relates to working with horses, as well as Amanda's future horsemanship goals on a global stage.
