August graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy before serving in the military for twenty years as a decorated fighter pilot and squadron commander, including two deployments to Syria and Northern Iraq. August also served on the United States National Security Council (NSC) during President Trump’s first presidency and still serves as a colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserves.
In Congress, August is the first Member to represent Midland and Odessa on the House Energy and Commerce Committee. He also serves as Chairman of the Republican Study Committee – the largest caucus of conservatives on Capitol Hill – and as Chairman of the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Counterterrorism and Intelligence. Additionally, August co-founded the MACH 1 Caucus and the Texas Ag Task Force.
He is a conservative Republican, a proud husband and father, and a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
About Rep. Self: Keith Self was born in a military hospital during his father’s service in the United States Army and was raised in Texas. After graduation from High School in Amarillo, he accepted an appointment to The United States Military Academy at West Point, where he began a 25-year career of service to our country.
Keith’s Army tours included Airborne Infantry Platoon Leader, Airborne Infantry Company Commander, Special Forces Detachment Commander and Special Forces Company Commander. His service took him to Europe, the Middle East, and the Pentagon, where he worked on the most sensitive military programs. He deployed to Grenada, Bosnia, Afghanistan, and Iraqi Freedom. During his career, Keith received the Master Parachutist Badge, Ranger Tab, Special Forces Tab, and Joint Staff Badge. He retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
Upon retiring from the Army, Keith was elected County Judge in Collin County, TX, in 2006. He served three consecutive terms before retiring in 2018.
Keith and his wife Tracy have been happily married since his graduation from West Point. They reside in McKinney, TX and are active members in their church and local community.

Brent led the Commander’s Rebalance Task Force coordinating execution of the President’s Defense Strategic Guidance—Rebalance to the Asia-Pacific resulting in over $12 billion USD of additional monies budgeted in fiscal years 2013 through 2015 during a time of fiscal austerity.Following his final tour on CNO’s staff, Brent returned to Asia as Senior Defense Official, Defense and Naval Attaché in Malaysia. During his tenure he played a key role in coordinating responses to the USS McCain collision in August 2017, opened several politically sensitive ports and airfields to U.S. forces, oversaw unprecedented expansion of U.S. military relations, and steadied relations during the historic May 2018 national elections ushering in an opposition party for the first time since independence.His final Navy assignment was China Branch of Navy Staff at the Pentagon.

Jennifer Sey has been speaking truth and standing up for women and children for nearly two decades. David Goodwin was raised on an Idaho farm, earned an M.B.A., traveled the world with a fortune 500 tech company, and quit even though, at the time, he had no school-aged children of his own, so that he could invest in classical Christian education.
He is a founding board member and was headmaster of The Ambrose School in Boise, Idaho for 13 years, and is currently president of the Association of Classical Christian Schools. Commissioner Manny Diaz, Jr. is a lifelong educator, having begun his career in education teaching Social Studies and coaching baseball in the Miami-Dade County Public Schools system in 1994. He then served as an Assistant Principal from 2007 to 2013 until becoming the Chief Operating Officer at Doral College. He was appointed Commissioner of Education by the Florida State Board of Education effective June 1, 2022.
Commissioner Diaz received his Bachelor’s degree from St. Thomas University, a Master’s degree in education from Nova Southeastern, and completed a Harvard Graduate School of Education program for principals.
He served with distinction in the Florida Legislature, originally elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2012, where he quickly became known as an expert and champion of education. He served for almost 40 years, retiring in 2019 with the rank of Brigadier General. He was elected to Congress in 2013.

Just two years ago, not a single state had universal school choice. Today, nine do.

Kim Reynolds (R-IA) began 2023 by signing into law the Students First Act , which allows all Iowa families to receive funds in an education savings account, or ESA, to attend the school of their choice.
But Reynolds didn’t stop at school choice, either. She also signed into law a common-sense parental rights bill, SF 496 , that prohibits instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity in public schools in grades K-6 and prohibits school libraries from stocking sexually explicit materials. The law also requires libraries to post their card catalogs online for the sake of transparency.
These groundbreaking reforms have earned the Hawkeye State the Heritage Foundation’s 2023 Education Freedom Award.

In 2019, the University of Pennsylvania's swim team informed its female athletes that Lia Thomas, a man formerly known as William Thomas, would be competing alongside them. But the consequences of the university's decision wouldn't be limited to unfair competition. Although Thomas' teammates were told he would use separate locker-room facilities, he was instead allowed to use the same locker-room as the rest of the team, subjecting the all-female group to changing clothes in front of a man. This incident, and the University of Pennsylvania's intense crackdown on dissent, sparked many of its athletes to come forward and advocate for the future of women's sports.
