Felicia Collins has been a guitar player, vocalist, and percussionist for The CBS Orchestra/World's Most Dangerous Band for over 25 years. She has also collaborated with some of music's greatest artists during tours, solo projects, and she was a member of the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame's house band. In this episode, Felicia and Mike have a fantastic conversation about some of her adventures and experiences before Letterman, including performing at Live Aid, her friendship with Nile Rodgers, and touring with Cyndi Lauper. She then tells the story of the phone call that would change her life, the day Paul Shaffer invited her to be a part of Letterman's house band as they moved the show to CBS---and how she didn't say yes instantly!
Felicia is such a kind woman and she is very grateful for the life she has and the things she has done. She also misses the Letterman gig very much. Mike and his wife also happen to think that Felicia might just be one of the coolest people walking the face of the earth.
