Many theologians emphasize being embodied—caring for the body, mind, and soul to the glory of God. This holistic approach is part of our walk with the Lord. Our motives for physical activity also matter. We should aim to be our healthiest selves to bring glory to God. Our mental and physical well-being are interconnected; often, those struggling with mental illness are advised to get outside and exercise.
