TW: Suicide and depression.
It’s inevitable that we will struggle with our mental health at different points in our lives. It’s important to know that this doesn’t define us or make us less valuable. As ambitious women we can often find our worth in our productivity, and ability to always be there for others, but there is so much strength in vulnerability. Reflecting on our emotional, spiritual and mental wellbeing allows us to look after ourselves and others better, and it can also be the signal that lets others know that we need platonic or professional support.
What are the signs that we should reach out to a medical professional for help navigating a mental health crisis and how can we support a loved one who’s suffering from depression or anxiety? Watch as our guest host Abi McIlrath is joined by guests Rachel Calland and Imelda Ladebo in the Magnify Studio for Opening Up About Depression and Anxiety.
